Drunken Stupor - Brewfest Achievement Event - Acceptable behavior under Blizz

This is 2022, we don’t stand for any nonsense these days. I know blizzard need help in accepting the woke agenda of the obviously vast majority of the world so let me lend my services.

Is it possible that representing jumping from a height of a MINIMUM of 65 feet to what will certainly be death or massive internal injury while “completely smashed under the influence of alcohol” as an achievement IN A GAME CHILDREN PLAY is acceptable?

I’ll tell you what you have some nerve blizzard, i wonder what the shareholders and MSM will make of this. Better start panicing and making changes cause im drafting my first e-mail to alcohol awareness bodies as we speak.

As much as I hate Blizzard, it drives me a bit mad, that they have to deal with this nonsense

if only it wasn’t such a serious issue Tygra.

WHO reports that

  • The harmful use of alcohol is a causal factor in more than 200 disease and injury conditions.
  • Worldwide, 3 million deaths every year result from harmful use of alcohol. This represents 5.3% of all deaths.
  • Overall, 5.1% of the global burden of disease and injury is attributable to alcohol, as measured in disability-adjusted life years (DALYs).
  • Beyond health consequences, the harmful use of alcohol brings significant social and economic losses to individuals and society at large.
  • Alcohol consumption causes death and disability relatively early in life. In people aged 20–39 years, approximately 13.5% of total deaths are attributable to alcohol.
  • There is a causal relationship between harmful use of alcohol and a range of mental and behavioural disorders, other noncommunicable conditions and injuries.

Sleeping at the wheel blizz…and no blizz…that is not a good idea for another achievment. Please do better.

This is a game not real life, get your head out of your azz.

Another tryhard culture war post. How banal are you people?

Why are you making light of a very, very serious issue that is literally like an unstoppable juggernaut ravaging societies across the planet. Social issues are part of WoW now. This is a forum for change.

Oh my god… u are the definition of a Snowflake without real problems

so obvious that people clearly can’t see the point hes illustrating

I can see a couple of points, neither of which are appealing.

And it’s a 12+ game so young kids should not be playing it.

" Children younger than 13 cannot create a Blizzard account . If the child is not yet 13, the Battle.net account must be registered by their parents"

common Dottie L, it’s ok for children who aren’t teenagers yet to play WoW, thanks for clearing that up for us all.

Did the achievement yesterday and actually thought to myself “Why didn’t I read the achievement before? It’s funny and fits the Brewfest theme perfectly!” I always just finished the achievement on pservers and was done about it without reading it.

World of Warcraft is a 12 rated game by PEGI, as in players should be 12 and over, yes people below that can play but it’s the parents decision, not the kids.

https://pegi.info/search-pegi?q=world+of+warcraft

Let me spell it out clearer for you Dottie.

What is the point you are making?

Are you saying that a 12 year old is not a kid?

I’m not saying that at all, and if you had any sense you would see that. I’m saying the game is rated for 12 and over.

A 12 year old is not a young kid.

I think you need your hard drive checked pal.

This is a dead end, kinda no longer funny to watch.

If you are looking for some recommendation, I would like to suggest to you another splendid topic : WoW Chat Culture and its effects on adolescents.
Oh my, even with chat mature langauge filter … in other words, great for irl character develompent :]
