I do not think TBC need dual specialisation
Dual spec = more tanks and more healers = less queues and waiting time for everyone. Just make it happen, Blizzard. Everyone supports it.
Prove it, in retail there still is a problem with a low amount of tanks with literaly dubble the amount of tank classes and everyone who plays them having acces to all their specs when ever they want to. DPS players (not all ofc but most) dont want to tank or heal becouse they then have to take resposibility and cant just blame someone els for the wipe.
Dont.
Everyone dont support it as you well know already.
It does not solve, but it helps alot. In retail off-specs there has been timegateing in some sort of way the last 3 expansions. While leveling there is only a small shortage of tanks/healers since there is nothing hindering them queing as those specs. And the skill requirement to tank/heal in retail is night and day compared to tbc.
Alot of tanks and healers wonât do certain dungeons because it wonât benefit them, but a DPS with tank/heal off-spec needs something it is more likely that he is willing to tank/heal, this has been true from wrath-wod. There where very little shortage on tanks/healers until mythic dungeons became a thing. The higher the difficulty the less likely are people willing to off-spec. (A dual spec wonât magically make the shortage disappear but it will reduce them waiting time to find a tank/heal)
Iâve heard people say that players wonât be recognised for being a good tank or a healer if people have dual spec, but I guess it in reality they are just ok players since they canât handle competition
In retail there are 24 DPS specs, 6 tank specs and 5 healer specs it is only logical that there are less of them
Dual spec can be the gateway for more people to try tanking/healing compared to a 50g cost + 50g if you donât enjoy it
Not really timegated at all but I kind of get what you mean.
I would say tanking a heroic is harder in tbc than anything before a +10 personaly though.
You could always pay them or you know be in a guild where people help each other out.
Becouse heroic dungeons from wrath and forwards have been easy.
Might be that or might be that they loos something that makes them fairly unique on their server.
In classic we have slightly less dps specs like 3 and a half less and half the amount of tank specs and 1 less healer spec.
so 1k and then 50g if you dont like it is less of a barrier than 100g (if they have respeced a lot allready)
What are they waiting for? where is also the promised LFG tool?
Imagine healers and tanks being able to freely spec into dps for questing and farming anytime, something that main dps players donât need to do.
You really dont need to respec as a tank to be able to farm or quest, it might take slightly more time to farm or quest but not that much. Just get some dps gear and go to town on the mobs and a tank will kill them just slightly slower than a dps.
We have something that they dont have though basicly instant dungeon groups.
Do not add dual spec. Donât ruin the game even more.
Thanks.
People like u ruin the game, find something else to do kid if u dont want to spend the time or effort to get things done.
I think this functionality comes on next expansion
Good job Blizzard, but the PvE community is still waiting for DUAL SPEC please.
This isnât wotlk!
Fixed!
You just have to wait until woltk that so hard?
I was just going to say the same thing that you just did xD
I want quadra spec, i am a druid after all.
Canât the 9.1 release, maybe they will stop with theses stupid demands.
Oh waitâŚ
NoâŚ
Why they are still here?
9.1 is so bad?
You cant fix something completly broken that easly they would have needed atleast 3 more months to be able to make something semi decent out of Shadowlands (and before people say that I didnt try it out or anything like that I did everything I was intressted in other than actually killing the last boss on heroic becouse I was not able to join my guild the week he went down and I didnt care any more even by that point)
Dual spec and LFG tool would make TBC a better experience. I still have never heard a convincing argument against that.
why wait 2 years when I can enjoy it while playing a great expansion like TBC and be able to both PvP and PvE on the same character?
