Another day another set of heroics not tanked by me. Nobody wants to pay the 100g to switch to prot and back to ret yet I seem like the bad guy for not shilling my own gold to tank everything.
Sell tanking service a for respec cost, problem solved.
I got laugh at so hard when I proposed something like this, why should they care about my respec. So I farmed what I needed, now I simply dont care

I would love dual talents, It is not just the cost of respec, but also fiting and setting your bars. Imo most healers and tanks would welcome this and would have more fun playing this game. Being tank or healer kinda restricts your money making / farming potential.
If i want to run a dungeon badly i got no problem 25g - 30g for tank respec, or even the full 100 If i can reserve the item i want, however in a normal run the tank also gets stuff from the dungeon so maybe idk split cost 5 ways, 20 g from each player including the tank.
Ill get some of that g back from drops anyway + badges and maybe items that i need.
Beetter than paying thousands for crafted items of boe in ah.
Or just don’t do heroics and move on?
asking for duel spec is not much different than asking for any other retail feature like “game token!!”
Idease here get to know some tanks maybe join a guild. Be the tank yourself or actually pay the tank to come to the dungeon the tanks clearly dont want to run becouse it will be a bad experience most likley with people not ccing and ninja pulling and then leaving after 1 or 2 wipes becouse “I dont have time for this”.

your fairytale of “it would help with the tank/healer issue immensely” (which is usually the argument) is a pipedream. people will use their dual spec to have pve and pvp dps specs, not tank/dps or even heal/tank specs.
proof? see retail, which despite having dual specs for years now, are still suffering from healer and tank shortages.
its even worse if you look at retail where everyone have acess to all of their specs at all times and there is still a hugh shortage of tanks and a slightly smaller shortage of healers
yeah its almost like people don’t want to play those roles.

People always want dual spec from dps to tank, what about the tanks who wants dual spec for dps/farming?
As mentioned before, doubt it will be a magic pill, some dps will spec tank and vice versa. Most likely.
