Dual spec reworked to fit TBC Classic

I understand why some players don’t want dual spec in the game, some use the pretext that it might make finding tanks and healers easier but many of the dps will just chose a pvp spec, so the majority who will benefit from this will be useful for would be tanks and healers to farm stuff faster/have pvp spec + choice matter and all that.

So here is my proposal for a Dual Spec system that will make life easier for some people at least, i’m one of them.

Add the dual spec from wotlk but keep the gold cost of respeccing attached to it. So when u chose to swap primary spec for secondary spec it should prompt a message just like when you use respec “are you sure you want to activate secondary spec? this will cost X gold” where X is the ammount and it works just like the respec cost, increases up to 50g the more you use it and decreases if you don’t use it for a period of time.

I don’t mind paying the respec cost, what i do mind is having to chose the talents and redo my action bars each time i chose to respec + swaping gear, so basicly i want this option just for the ability to save the talents, action bars layout and gear swap.

Put some limitations to you it like only able to do it in a city, or even at class trainer.

The normal respec that we have now should only reset the talents for the spec you are in when using this option be it primary or secondary.

It’s more a QoL that has 0 impact on anything apart from less time spent doing the respec itself, gold cost is the same as normal respec so choice still matters. I still pay 50g/respec/talent swap but do it in 5 second not 5 minutes.

This is the most useless iteration of dual spec I’ve seen being advocated here. If you’re too lazy to visit your capital city or click in some points… the rest is identical to how respeccing works already.

You can have action bars addon like Dominos, that allows saving of different profiles and changing them manually after respec.

The only thing that your suggestion adds is the ability to change talents on the fly, but keeping gold cost.

That will bring only more burden on players like me, who refuse to buy gold via RMT, because raid leaders would begin to ask a mandatory offspecs for certain bosses.

I want second spec to serve my purposes, be it PvP, tanking/healing or farming.

So my counter suggestion is keep requirement of visiting your class trainer, but make it free, unless you make full reset to rebuild one of your specialisations.

That is why IT shouldn’t bother you because it is not dual spec per say but lazy mans respec, yes im lazy due to have limited play time cuz of family, work, kids and i dont want to spend IT doing something that can and was automated 1 patch later.

I don’t want to change IT on the Fly, but only în capital cities or even ar trainer only.

I want this service from blizzard its who in paying to play the game notn3rd party addons.
