As the title says will there be dual spec?
Or do we have to respec after every raid again so we can enjoy pvp?

Free respec at the trainer, with 3 talent presets to make, save and choose.

They teased it at Blizzcon indeed. Probably at Lvl 40.

The whole rune system in SoD is so dynamic, I cannot see how the talents won’t have something similar.

They teased us at Blizzcon but of course they couldn’t make any promises at this point. As soon they have the data and realize that SoD is a success, they will work on dual spec and more for sure.
No matter if Era, SoD or Retail, WoW is back, and budget pretty obvious approved by Microsoft.

You play a hybrid spec, we are at 25… there barely are any real talents around, especially such that are useless in either scenario & they said they lowered the respec costs too.

They said they will add it, so probably in later phases.
Honestly I dislike that they are planning to introduce it.
I just hope they wont overdo it again with the quality of life improvements, its a slippery slope.
A slippery slope to what? Convenience? Do you think by adding dual spec and instant mail between alts that all of a sudden they’ll add LFR? This isn’t Era or Hardcore. It’s SoD.

This might be the only retail like feature I will support. Not only is it season of DISCOVERY which really promotes experimentation, but it overall just makes sense for healers and tanks I guess.

A slippery slope to an empty meaningless pixelfarm game, rather keep it like a rpg.
They didnt say they will add it they said they might add it later or lower the max cost that respecs go up to, they never promised it will come but it might come
I’m not one to say that we need every kind of shiny stuff that retail has like summoning stones and flying etc, but please add dual spec, it’s a net positive, nobody loses a thing.
I would also like to add that instant mail between our own characters would improve alot, atleast for me. I cant really come up with an argument on how this would ruin anything

It’s not like 50g to respec is the epitome of roleplaying. It’s a gold sink, nothing more.
Hope they’ll add it next phase. I‘m playing warrior as a dps and while it‘s no problem tanking dungeons with this spec it would be nice having dual spec to easily change the build.
