If the toy isn’t to be pointless on alts, I only had to do the Duck Disguise quest on 56 characters… thank you Blizzard.

6 years to complete, part of Blizard’s master plan to keep people around for the TWW 3 expansions Saga every 2 years. 
Think of all the main changes people do as well.
What’s this “main change” you speak of? 
It’s a strange ritual people perform, some quite regularly, others less so.

It does seem they won’t hotfix it in this year’s holiday.
As it’s working as intended I don’t think there will be any fix unless they change their minds.
