For solo play, what is the best Melee? warrior or hunter, whats the + & - of the both?
Edit : For PvE, only gonna pug, but mostly do open world stuff

But yes, hunter is a better DPS class in PvE and you will probably have a better time playing it. Especially if you want to join some pug dungeons and raids.

You could go survival “melee” hunter while leveling for the variety. But finding a raiding guild that would take you might prove difficult.
Yeah, plus warrior always have the tank option if i decide to pug :]

Oh lol, I thought you actually just meant physical damage 
I wish you well. If you decide to level a warrior after all, expect to die. A lot. When I leveled this mage I could more often than not just frost nova and blink away or something, but as a warrior you have to take the consequences of bad pulls when soloing in the world.
That being said, I am leveling a warrior currently and I enjoy having to pay attention to what I’m doing. Though that doesn’t completely prevent me from dying. A lot.

I ended up going warrior because apperantly hunters use mana outside of pet heals at max level
I hate mana in this game, so warriorino it is!
