They did, even some of the bosses are dps races/checks, otherwise more waves of pain/punishment metrics incoming.

Sorry but this does not make sense.
Eveything is a race in a certain way then, cause at some point your healer mana will get to 0 and you will all die.

What you want bosses to do? Tank and spank?

blizzard promoted this playstyle for years…

and has done absolutely nothing to combat it.

so it thrives.

EDIT: if you make a game which is deigned to be unfriendly to the player base and frustrating…

you end up with a frustrated and short tempered player base.

look at ff14 community in comparison to wow… they are much friendlier because the game is not designed against them it is designed for them.

I am not a hundred percent sure of that. My brother plays FF14, and he said even there it is a common practise to do multi-room pulls until you are literally prevented from going forward until you kill everything in your path.

Then they just stop at that wall and murder everything. The biggest difference between FF14 and WoW dungeons is that in FF14 you get a huge XP bonus if you have a newbie in your dungeon. That alone prevents people from kicking you, but it doesn’t mean they will wait for you however.

Personally, I would love a speed toggle in the LFD to join a slower pug group for a very chill run with learners for fun rather than efficiency.

Honestly I had something like this in mind. Specifically, I would love to have a toggle when leveling that says ‘‘No level 60’s and relaxed run’’ because sometimes it just takes all the fun out of it when a geared level 60 comes in and just oneshots everything. I actually like dungeons when I am allowed to run them at a reasonable pace

In FFXIV it is actually bannable to make a deal of people being bad. You can’t even mention dps meters or you might honestly get suspended. Not only that, but since people have to run dungeons for the story, there is an understanding that most people follow (in my experience) that you wait for people. But yes, trash is easy and you generally pull it all in one go but it’s not punishing like in WoW. Not even comparable.

I feel you in legion i got kicked because i wanted to do the rare in the darkheart dungeon with the bears and when i tried to form a group for it i coulen’t as there was a dailly lockout…
