Dungeon Deserter in LFR

Hi.

Why do we now get punished with “dungeon deserter” after leaving LFR when we’ve killed the bosses we needed? This is new to TWW.
For context, you sign up for a wing and you get one already in progress that has 2/3 bosses killed in said wing and you kill the last boss there and requeue to get the first 2 you missed but after joining that run and killing the 2 bosses you get hit with a 30m debuff???
The fact this has been implemented in LFR is bizarre…

Checking it over from previous complaints it has been implemented in previous expansions, so it is not new or anything.

Ok I can say without hesitation I did not experience this during dragonflight at all. Even so, why is this a thing? Forcing people to kill bosses they have already killed because the system forces you into an ongoing group just feels wrong to me.

In the past when LFR was first introduced we had a very crippling problem: That of leavers in the raid and no one willing to join an in-progress raid because the bosses killed were displayed.

This is then removed from the LFR screen when queue pops. When you finish an in-progress raid, you will be prioritised for a new one.

I understand ofcourse nobody wants to stick around a raid where they already have looted the next few bosses. The deserter doesn’t seem to be applied consistently either. You may suggest through the ingame feedback box if you’d like to see changes to this and other as well.

Yup, and if you get kicked for any reason which, it being LFR, could be anything really.
