Explain to me pls?
1 min afk in Dungeon (tho I informed ppl that imma be 1min brb) results to afk vote, which results in 30 min penalty to queue for a dungeon, that takes 5 min to complete. May be i signed up for ranked-timewalking-dungeon or something… Can I buy some pay-to-win things to work around it? Couse if no - I don’t see why this exists. Some ppl don’t have hours and hours to play. And this penalty will only lead to me not playing the game. Now if THAT is the goal - congratz!
So you were afk for 20% of the dungeon…that’s quite significant.

The penalty is by no means connected to the duration of the dungeon. Idk what you want to say with this.
So what is it connected to? And if I was 1 min afk and ppl kicked me - now they will w8 more to to have new player joining them. So instead having me for 80% of the time they have another random for 40 % of the time. So your math is ok, but where is the logic ?
Probably; nothing. It’s the same for LFR, LFD (normal, heroic, TW, …), and PvP. It’s just an arbitrary number.
There doesn’t need to be logic, only 3 others who don’t want to be grouped up with you. But being afk for 20% of the time can easily be seen as a reason to boot you, that’s all.
I’m ok with the removal from the group… but why the 30 min ?
Otherwise you can just “fish” for a kick, just to requeue immediately. E.g. if you don’t want that specific dungeon. Specifically relevant for tanks and healers who have close to zero queue times.
So the added some grace period after being kicked.
Sorry, but that is just lazy! An option to avoid players would have worked much better.
Yep the deserter debuff is Unfair as hell. Especially when you are solo queing and get grouped with premades. I don’t care how bad someone plays i never click yes on a kick vote, not since the deserter debuff for kicks was implemented.
They should just make leaving or asking for a kick a banable offence. I mean if a tank or heal holds you hostage the chat logs will probably show it. Easy enough to detect after a report.
But hey that is blizzard for ya, automate as much as possible so we have to do the least amount of work.

Sure the world sucks boohoo but I think the problem here is you think it revolves around you. Next time slip away “for a minute” and don’t draw attention to it.
