To be clear though, there are certainly ways to abuse it. It just doesn’t fall under what Blizzard counts as (or rather what they want to use manpower for) abuse.
That distinction is important if you want to recognize people’s feelings about having it done to them.

Seems people are also kicked these days for dieing in an instance. A new dps from the que is faster than ressing someone.
Several people in my guild experienced this in pugs already.
Comon decency seems to have gone in the current very toxic playerbase.
It is about time the deserter debuff disappears, the playerbase abuses it too often!

Being forcefully removed is not deserting. Therefore, you should not get the deserter debuff. Case closed. It’s that simple
lad got kicked this morning for falling behind in lava jump skip in BRD. wasnt his idea to do it. was forced to do it, tank just yeeted himself of the ledge then bro gets punished because he isnt as good as the rest of us at doing this? totally fair i guess to give him a 30 MIN penalty for this right
yeah thats what blizz say when i submit a ticket, their advice to avoid it was to join a guild 
2 kicks made already today, both for same reason, dps joins dungeon and then on 2nd pack guess what, its afk. There is always reason to kick, if you dont want to be kicked dont afk and dont be bad

It’s absolute garbage how they are not even considering changing how this works. This morning I got kicked from a dungeon because the healer wasn’t healing my pet so i had to revive it and missed the first elevator in Heart of Fear. And then he just said “Wai u cry, we kicked for fun, not elitism”. At the end of the day it’s our fault for still giving them money every month. Oh well
