why do you get it when they vote you out of the party i dont get it?
should i be punished just because i want to play the dungeon the way you are suppose to??
i was tanking and pulling the mobs like normal. in a normal dungeon with people at lvl 50-55, and 3 guildies wanted to be eliteists and skip the mobs, and since i didnt want to do it i got voted and got a 30 min deserter, how is that even fair?
I mean leveling is leveling , it’s boring and people want it over fast I dont see anything wrong with that I do the same (not in the way of kicking but i go as fast as possible)
if you’re tanking you’re the one leading the way , especially if it’s a guild group you’re with technically they are the majority. I personally hate tanks in normals who are doing pack by back its just a waste of time because of how easy normals are
If you did not defeat any boss in the dungeon. you get deserter if you leave (even if you leave by getting kicked) , it’s dumb but it’s been like that for a long time
The only reason I would vote yes to kick a tank, is being completely unable to hold aggro or consistently outpulling the healz, since tanks tend to be in short supply.
However, if a tank wanted to clear every single mob in the dungeon, I think it is fair for the group to criticise that and request a faster clear.
People in the past who were farming for specific items used it as a work around to avoid the deserter buff they would get if they left themselves. So they had the other people in the team kick them.
Blizzard was forced to apply the deserter buff across the board.
Not that it stops those kind of people leaving, as 30 mins is nothing to them. It serves little purpose and only annoys those who were kicked.
