Such a huge problem for people who got little time to play.

Being vote kicked for no reason midfight, and people just clicking the button to get it away from their screen.

People troll all the time, and today ive been very unlucky. Getting 2x votekicked.

1 hour of dungeon deserter. I did ok dps, i said nothing. Was leveling a ret pally, lvl 72. Not amazing dps, but not bad. Did 17% of party dps. Waited for tank to pull, in general played like you should. Not being pulling aggro or anything.

Why does this deserve 30 minutes of dungeon deserter debuff, cause im being bullied by one person? Why does blizzard allow trolls to have such powerful tools?

Why isnt the deserter when kicked, linked to how many kicks you gotten. So one can weed out the trolls?

I can think of so many better systems ontop my head. This is just the worst implementation ive come across. And annoys me so much cause its time theft, and i value my time highly.

Yes i might waste it, but its mine to waste. Not anyone else.

Im so stubborn, i might quit wow cause of this. If it happens much more. Not been an issue untill today. Never gotten votekicked before, now i got two votekicks in 4 dungeons…

Ive played since vanilla… Quit back in cata, came back now… And im stuck with being trolled. Not a fan of blizzard enabling and empowering trolls so much.

Edit: This is the first horde character i level. Dunno if its “racism” from alliance or what is the deal. But never had this issue untill now

The debuff is granted for any leaving in the dungeon, due tanks and healers having held dungeons hostage in the far past. It’s nothing new.

If this is true, clicking no is faster as Yes is greyed out the first 5 seconds or so.

You meant:

It requires a majority of the party to agree as you’ve noticed, not just one person.

Which ones? I would like to add to my list:

  • “Just remove it” The darkest times will come back again
  • “Reduced cooldowns stacking upwards” so that if you aren’t kicked often, it starts with a minor debuff.
  • “Reduced cooldowns, stacking downwards” so if you’re in a “good” party, then when they surprisepikachu kick you at the end the cooldown is lower.
  • “Add reporting for kicking” - This is akin FF where they investigate if someone is really, really using votekick so often and gets reported for it that often as well. Punishments are rare but deserved.
  • “Add fixed reasons for kicking plus the above” - People would still select a random category. Better keep it freefill if we’re going to get a report and investigate situation for more deep diving if it was really warranted.

If you have a proper suggestion, you may submit it through the ingame feedback box. I also would like to know to see if the suggestion can be improved making it into a better experience for everyone involved.

I have been an accomplice accendentally once.

Was in middle of pull, dpsn then i notice box is imparing my vision and i click yes just to get rid of it. Only 1 second after click i notice what i did and we kicked the tank.

Resulting in a wipe…

I hardly think party agreed to anything this time, they just wanted to get rid of a box cause we were middle of a huge pull. (In timewalking dungeon, Zul farrak. And its a battle against the totems when tank does like that)

Im happy with any change that results in people not getting 30 min debuff when they are not kicked often and obviously not a troll.

I know the history, and the “reasoning”. Its the implementation i think is horrible as it punishes innocent people so hard. 30 minutes might be nothing for an no lifer living on government subsidies. But its quite a lot for the hard working guy who has little time leftover for things like games.

I thought i disconnected at first. So surprised i was over the kick.

Seems to be timewalking dungeons the trolls are targeting. So ive been doing dragonflight dungeons since my kicks. Ive sent my feelings into the ingame feedback box.

But that does little. Discussion, getting people aware. And people making demands is how you change things. Thus why i am on the forums.

And why i have been discussing climate since i was on my first conference about it in 2004.

Enough feedbacks, enough forum post. Enough negative consequences (Like people leaving the game, aka cutting off blizzard from revenue) is how you change things. In my view.

I got kicked from a timewalking dungeon just now with no explanation given, never went afk, never did anything strange, I whispered why i was removed ‘too low dmg’ yes I was doing lower dmg because of scaling and the tank was doing insane big pulls which resulted in the mobs silencing/fearing/interrupting me and making me do less dmg than the melee in my group. And my reward was a nice 30 min deserter debuff, such a toxic game this is

I actually agree here, came to see if anyone was having this issue. Group was getting absolutely wrecked due to scaling (lvl 35 paladin tank was getting more or less one shot) and obviously as the healer in what looks to have been a pre-made, I now have to wait for 30 minutes despite doing nothing wrong!!
