This is getting ridiculous. The Dungeon Finder is broken and it’s causing massive frustration.
What the hell is going on over there at Blizzard? Last season massive problems, this season more annoying massive problems.
Why is it that for some keys, you can queue up and within minutes, the group fills out like a dream? Then for others stuck waiting 30 MINUTES to form a group even as a damn tank?!
This is NOT how it’s supposed to work!
Something massive is being ignored here.
It’s absurd that Blizzard hasn’t addressed this yet.
No one is talking about it but I know I’m not the only one who’s been hit with this.
If you’re referring to Mythic+ this is nothing that Blizzard has any control over as to how quickly or how slowly people wish to be invited or want to join a group.
We’re at the beginning of a new season and people are gatekeeping a lot of people because they’re mostly inviting meta spec classes, thinking it will have a major impact on their keys below +10 xD
Just relax dude and either join groups with your guild or join a Discord that do M+ stuff, so you can get into a premade group to run multiple keys.
I don’t have a problem getting into keys, that’s not the point here. The issue is the Dungeon Finder itself. For example, I just did Gambit boom filled in seconds. Then I switch over to Op Floodgate, sitting at the summoning stone for 30 MINUTES, no one signing up. Not a single soul.
Don’t try to deflect this by talking about meta specs or gatekeeping because I’ve already cleared a +10. So that excuse is out the window
Something’s wrong with the Dungeon Finder or how it’s handling certain dungeons and Blizzard isn’t addressing it.
it’s a problem that needs to be fixed NOW.
And buff DK back to normal. Beyond frustrated with this corporation
And what do you expect Blizzard to do here?
Magically conjure players into existence that want to run said dungeon?
Install some super clever AI to run it with you?
That’s the thing! it’s not a people problem, it’s the Dungeon Finder itself that’s broken. when one dungeon is filled in seconds and the next one has me staring at the summoning stone for 30 minutes there’s something going wrong with the system.
I do expect the Dungeon Finder to function like it’s supposed to. If I’m getting groups for some dungeons in a minute but not others that means there’s a flaw in how it’s handling certain dungeons or keys
That’s how queuing works unfortunately. Just because you’re a full group, doesn’t mean you get to skip the entire queue of people waiting.
If you want to do that, just run to the actual dungeon with your group and enter.
Not saying this system can use a change, assuming that’s how it actually works.
We’re just guessing atm
The system to find groups for +2 to +whatever is working perfectly fine. It’s the people who are running those groups, that are being picky or people who want to join those groups trying to get into groups, which they’re not geared for.
Again, this is not a Blizzard problem.
So it’s strange that you think that they can fix a problem, which has been happening since Mythic+ was a thing.
You think the group finder is not showing your group or something and that’s why you don’t fill your group.
But it is much more likely that people just don’t want to play said dungeon.
For example if I offer free candy and a ps5 after a nice balloon ride mi would probably get a lot of applications.
If I now offer the same or maybe even lesser rewards for a two day hike trough the Amazonas I will probably get way less applications
I’m replyning to all of you since posting here is completely scuffed.
If it were only about preference there wouldn’t be this stark and consistent imbalance between certain dungeons. Two nearly identical scenarios in terms of key level. one fills in seconds and the other stagnates completely.
When I list a group in the Dungeon Finder it should be shown fairly and promptly to players looking for runs. A +10 Gambit fills up instantly and a +10 Op Floodgate sits dead for 30 minutes with a tank. that’s an algorithm issue or a visibility problem. 30 minutes to fill a group during prime time. This is not normal variance.
I’m not underqualified. Have the most in demand role, but I can still sit dead in the water because the system seemingly isnt working.
This problem I started notice in S2 and getting worse. Whether it’s due to how the finder sorts listings or a bug in prioritization logic it’s not working as intended.
If they didn’t want to run Floodgate at all it would show in the numbers across the board. other players are completig it.
This exact dungeon was voted as a community favorite. everyone was hyping Floodgate before Season 3 talking how well designed and refreshing it was. now no one wants to do it? That doesn’t add up. If anything Floodgate should be one of the most played.
I had a thing in S2 where I couldn’t see certain dungeons. Someone in a dungeon brought it up and you have to manually set for it to search the dungeons.
When I checked two of the dungeons weren’t selected. It could be that.
If they hadn’t said anything I’d just think no one ever had a key for those two dungeons.
Can only speak for myself as I have no idea how dps pick their groups. But if I see a tank or any person for that matter with little exp low or no clear in a specific dungeon I don’t join.
It’s that some keys are extremely Easy and some are annoying so if people ignore key you have it’s most likely the being annoying .
From early look at high end mythic riadená farming 10 on day one they hated streets because it’s a 5 bosses dungeon
