I can’t figure this one out. It keeps happening that I wonder why the dungeon finder is taking so long to find a dungeon, and when I check it has been paused. I’m not doing any quests or going into instances that could pause it, so I don’t understand why it’s happening. I’m just sitting in Orgrimmar, waiting for dungeons to pop and running between the AH and innkeeper to list items and/or sell trash items.
I’ve noticed that other players can cause it to say paused when the dungeon finder has started to form a group and is waiting for the last few slots to be filled.
For example if the group is starting to form and tooltip shows there’s a tank and 3 dps and it’s waiitng a healer, then any of the 3 other members (and you) zoning/portalling/DCing and such will make the tooltip show paused for a short while.
Depending on server and time of day, ques can be slow. Even slower if it’s LFR (raids).
