Dungeon finder tool is utter garbage

This thing is shambolically bad, no wonder people are asking for RDF. I was opposed to RDF but if this is the best system you could come up with then just bloody well add RDF back.

Definitely don’t miss RDF. That thing is horrific. I like the Wrath LFD tool but it just needs some improvements, such as letting me know who is asking for an invite rather than having to shift-click their character’s name in the chat window, and giving me a list of everyone who is requesting an invite so I can compare them and see who I want to accept.

Also, everyone is picking a healer or tank role because of the Northrend adventure package bonus even though they’re a DPS and it makes things very confusing, especially when you realize there is no actual tank or healer because the paladin is retribution, or the DK/Druid/Warrior is DPS.

Try playing as a non-hybrid and get back to me

u want class balance to be solved by the wow equivalent of gender quotas rather than rebalancing?

Used to love doing dungeons as a break from open world questing. Right now I regret not leveling mage so I could farm UK to 80 without interacting with others, nothing made me more tired of people in classic than this lfg tool. Waste time waiting for ppl, waste time waiting for accepting que, waste time flying to dungeon, then you notice rogue was qued as tank so you need to reque again, then your healer is stoned and gathers herbs instead of healing.

I never actually believed something as simple as dungeons can be so tiring, wotlk+ at its finest

I think it works fine. Found groups and players pretty quick. Its nice to get to pick and choose and send a quick whisper to ask if anybody needs a crossbow from the last boss

Only pure advantage for me specifically is that I will literally never do The Oculus.
I don’t even hate it that much but if I can avoid it forever then why not.
Edit: *checks daily quest * oh no

Try making own groups or try to go back to retail. No rdf!

And the problem is that in order to write in LfG which is what ppl do anyway you gotta list there!!

How does playing balance only druid void my opinion about the group finder?

Not sure if you are trolling or just one mcnugget short of a happy meal. Boomkins are in high demand for dungeons, some are even advertising for them.

Bring back RDF, people that want to tryhard with perfect group compositions can always still do that

I feel sorry for the people questing near me while I’m listed in the new tool. Too many extra steps involved for me to join your group, share credit for something I’m fine soloing to then open menu and relist myself.

Like, no sarcasm, I actually can’t be bothered with the new tool. Should I ever need to add a description to my listing for groups I will actually just unsub it bothers me that much.

It has never taken more than 30 minutes to form a group for me with the current tool. This includes 3am groups for random leveling dungeons. Usually it takes significantly less time.

Seems people are just too lazy to use this tool, or just don’t understand how to.

You want to rebalance the game to make this tool work at all?

And you wonder why gender quotas are a thing that society still needs?

Rebalancing the game is a better option than creating a system which forcefully brings in people who do not carry their own weight.

Quotas should not be a part of any market based economy where merit should be the driving force for output

Good lord, you actually want retail.

If only merit was the only thing that mattered then we wouldn’t need quotas.

Turns out that’s never been the case.

Lmfao. Retail has the exact same problems.

Except it is the case. Nepotism is a much larger and universal issue than gender bias. Quotas do not solve any problem but create more problems, especially in fields where dominated by one of the genders.

The issue here is that given choice you take the individual that will bring the most value. I haven’t really palyed wotlk but i assume rogue is really bad as usual and not worth bringing to dungeons, just like you wouldn’t hire someone missing both arms and legs as a guard.

Your idea to solve the issue with lack of cripples doing physical labour is to have quotas, rather than removing their impairments, which is possible in a game.

Rogue is fine, our damage is good and we can increase a party members damage by 15% every 30 sec

it has to be a lot better than a warrior bringing 813 ap and 5 crit to the whole party to justify bringing one to a dungeon, unless u are max lvl 2h plate not wanting to inv ppl sharing ur loot
