i have 2 dungeon missions, i cant do them because there is only 1 dungeon in the dungeon finder, what gives?

update, its only showing shadowlands, it wont show any other. for me and my teamate

Can you tell us which dungeon quest is it?
Also what is quest name? And what level are atm?

To unlock all dungeon you might want to talk to Chromi in stormwind.

i am lvl 51, the only dungeon available to me is “the Necrotic Wake”

i am in battle for azeroth, i haven’t touched the other expansions yet.

i need to access to Waycrest manor and Tol Dagor dungeons to complete some missions.

i cant even access “join random” the option isnt even there

My advice is to abandon every bfa quests and go into shadowlands

i want to avoid that if possible, i wanna complete azeroth 100% before i move to other expansions

That’s a rough way you choose, how’s it going? Cuz if you’re 51 now, you will definitely be max level before even touching SL.
Back to topic I’m not sure, cuz i haven’t done that, but chromie can probably unlock older dungeons for you. Waiting for others to confirm that

yep, i understand, i guess im what you call a lore player and explorer.
i like to 100% and know every nook and cranny of a level and its story before i move on.
i know i will be over level for many lands doing this, however leveling up my rogue was painful so i wont complain (^-^)
after i get pathfinder i may go druid

edit: it looks like others have had this problem, aparrently talking to Chromie, she will tell me i need an “icecrown”.

i will talk to her tomorrow to see if i can, but if im reading others right im effectively locked out

you cannot use the lfg tool for bfa dungeons past level 50. if you wanted to finish everything you should have stopped your exp at 49ish but its too late for that now i guess.

so you either

  • find some friends who are in that level range and party sync and finish the dungeons this way
  • find random people/friends/guild mates who need the same quests and you manually walk there
  • find a level 60 who boosts you through the dungeon

chromie time is only available until level 50.

i was simply following the story and doing side quests, i ended up this level just doing that, and dungeons are a mission requirement. i even tried to solo the Waycrest manor, i couldnt even 1v1 a mob.

so basically im locked out of story content? doesn’t seem hospitable for new players.

there should be a way there though where you dont get fatigued.

as long as they havent changed anything, you can still walk there and get the flightpoint. just make sure you are in the “light blue” area and you shouldnt get fatigue.
when bfa was current i used to walk over the water as i didnt have flying yet. i am not aware there were any changes so it should still work. if not let me know i can fly you there.

yes and no. if you want to use the lfg tool then yes, you are most likely locked out if you dont want the help of anyone else. however, you can still manually enter the dungeons.

thanks (^-^) i will take a look tomorrow, i guess i could say its further incentive to get the pathfinder achievement.

I would say start shadowland - you can do all lore stuff at max level with ease. Also you can solo BFA dungeon too - no need of dungeon finder tool.

For now save those quest and come back later.

feels kind of odd to have to play the last level first before going back to do the first level

Well wow lore is scattered - by playing game only you don’t know whole lore.

It’s comes from novel, comic, manga, old warcraft etc. So there is no streamline lore…

In shadowland they introduced lore quests separately. In other expansion 80% of quests consists of kill 12 pig and gather 10 meats because of REASONS which don’t have anything to do with lore.

There is almost always a reason. I call it mini lore (don’t know what it’s in reality). But it’s those random quests to help out common people of Azeroth. Old content is full of that stuff, gives the zones some immersion.
