I havenāt seen this when leveling in dungeons. The only kicks Iāve seen were for obvious bots or AFK players.
I could see a tank getting kicked if they run so far ahead that the healer and dps canāt keep up and die to aggroed, untanked mobs, but that is only a potential issue with DHs.
Amazing way to start a rant /clap. Iām sure people will agree with you right away! /s
So? People are entitled to want to clear the whole thing. Some bosses are needed for quests, others need transmog or, yes, gear when you donāt have heirlooms.
Donāt gatekeep.
Why are you on the clock? Do you have an hourly quota you need to meet? Are you a chinese goldfarmer? No? Then why whine (yes, whine) about this? Itās a video game, not a job.
Like you said itās only 3-5 min extra. If you donāt want to deal with people just solo quest.
Some people replay Ocarina of Time 20 times a year, some like to level new chars through certain zones and yes, do those dungeons for the xth time. Again stop gatekeeping.
Ahh there it is! 4th time? Hm must defo be a you issue then! Iāll give you a hint based on this whiny rant: āme me me meā is all I get from this.
You seem like the tank that has a serious āgogogoā mentality, skipping stuff and rushing ahead, getting anrgy when a new player for example canāt keep up. Yeah Iād kick you too. In. A. Heartbeat.
There looks to be more to the story then you are telling us .there is no way you can be kicked out of the party for 4 times in same evening and you not doing something wrong .
I havent levelled a toon in forever, but apart from doing dungeon quests is lvling via dungeons the fastest method?
More importantly, you are not the only one in the dungeon, everyone has their own goals and reasons why they are there. Just because you are tank it does not mean you get to call the shots as evident by you getting kicked out 4 times in one night.
ive levelled a toon and as DPS (exp TBC and BFA) is max 2 mins. I levelled a shammy from 10 to 60 in 1 day. After 60 is better questing and dungeoning.
If youāre getting kicked that often itās probably time to invest in a mirror and do some reflecting, iām a very āgo go goā type of tank and iāve yet to be kicked out of a leveling dungeon.
When DPS or healers pull on purpose I just ignore the mobs or go another way.
Usually nothing happens, just once I have been kicked for ignoring the mobs that a hunter kept pulling in FH.
My only regret was not kicking the hunter first, because most of the times the rest of the group is just a bunch of minions that accept every kick vote that somebody start⦠They would even accept to vote for their own kick if they could.
There are stupid reasons as to why people kick others⦠but if that happens regularly, you should take a good look at yourself.
May I sell you this fantastic version of WoW, Classic?
Regardless of your chosen edition, dungeons of the current version are pretty fair paced, remains so at least for the next two-three editions (Cata, MoP, WoD).
Low level WLK is similar to the OP, but 70+ is sensible. Was the same during BC.
SoD is not classic.
Cataclysm is coming which should be fun the same way, especially at the beginning, as long as heirlooms cap at 80.
Positivity over, the negative is, I have the same view / understanding of DF.
Itās what current retail players desire.
All I can suggest is pay attention to how the group is handling things. Slow down if people are dying, not keeping up, or the healer is out of mana. Speed up if people are on full health, the healer has mana, and mobs are dying. Not every group plays at the same pace, you have to adapt to whoever you landed with on this particular run. Much like when pugging M+, you gotta play with the team you get, not the team you hoped youād get.
Also use neural silencers to get rid of hunters who like misdirecting
