Why arent dungeon sets account wide when you have unlocked them on one character?
We were given a cheap catchup set during incursions but we cant use a 1500g+ questline to help do the same

Not lame at all, it would be glorious. It would be like the angels coming down from the heavens and blessing us. Plus its only half pre bis, you would still need 7/8 pieces to complete.

honestly though, like, do you not want to play the game?
whats the fun in getting to 60 and then instantly there’s nothing to do beside raid logging because you can just outright buy your bis?

so many players would quit over a lack of something meaningful to do.
this game revolves around treadmills.
you can’t remove the treadmill, otherwise people get off and do something else.
to a degree you can already buy your prebis by farming a couple of dungeons every night, and you might even get lucky to have the tier pieces actually drop and save 25-50 tarnished reals in the process.
not to mention 3 of the pieces are on AH right now for like 5g each.

I understand your point but I dont agree with it. After spending 1500g in materials and gold to get it done, I aint in a hurry to do it again and with incursions basically giving gear that was more than good enough to jump right into ST, it wouldnt be alot different now, so I dont see the stretch at all.
A treadmill is farming a few rep doing incursions for a set of gear, DS2 questline is a whole mountain in comparison.
well you basically said it yourself.
getting the upgraded tier 0.5 isn’t obligatory.
you can do pvp and get gear that is basically just as good or in some cases (depending on class/spec) even better.
i would like to think that something like the upgraded tier gear is meant to be a main-char luxury and not something you just get for dinging max lvl.
the incursion gear was a mistake and people provided plenty of feedback on why that was the case.
i’m glad they didn’t go that route for phase 4.

tbh pvp rep i understand. that is a pain to grind on multiple characters even in SOD.
The game is raid logging.
People want alts up and ready to do MC every day of the week.
Any thing that makes Pre-BiS easier is a good thing.
I am just not bothering with alts at all, since you have to do all time consuming bs over again
