This morning I have done my last ever attempt at a Dungeon World Quests. After about 20 minutes of waiting in the LFD que I finally got into the Underrot Dungeon. The whole reason I waited was so I could do the WQ for the 340 ilevel mythic ring. The group was fairly well geared and we stormed through the dungeon and completed the first 3 bosses fairly quickly and then got to the 2 monsters right before the final boss. I asked the group if we could just kill the WQ monster in a side chamber right next to the 2 other monsters. Then the other players in the group told me âwe have wasted enough time alreadyâ and kicked me out of the group. First I thought maybe my DPS was off, but not I was close second on DPS. I decided to just let it go. I am not going to que fro another 20 minutes just to maybe get another group that is just not interested in doing the WQ. I mean doing dungeon WQs is what LFD is for? That and leveling. Why else would you do LFD? Transmog run maybe? But why not just kill one monster and maybe get a ring that drops titan forged? I would understand if it was a mythic+ dungeon and they wanted to get it done because those monsters hit a hell of a lot harder, but not in LFD.
So Dungeon World Quests is just another part of the game that is no longer enjoyable because of toxic players. That is leaving less and less of the game that is still fun.
Lets see:
Leveling Characters - way way too long before I get to current content and gets so boring after you have done a few characters. Even if you make use of character boosts how many times can you do the Zuldazar story line before it is just too much. So no fun there. Using Dungeons and Islands to level atls gets boring and repetitive very quickly.
Questing and WQs - is fun the first time you do quests but especially WQs get really boring after you have done them for a few weeks.
Dungeons and Raids - too many impatient toxic players so no fun there.
Islands and Warfronts - I used Warfronts to gear my characters, but I sometimes fall asleep while doing Warfronts and Islands now. Once again no fun there. Was fun the first time but wore off after the third time. After 18 times to gear one character not so great. After gearing 5 characters itâs like a sleeping tablet.
Professions and AH - there is no gear that you can craft above 300 ilevel that you can sell on the AH. So no fun there.
Collecting pets mounts etc - That is still fun unless it has a very very very low drop rate (Time Lost Proto-Drake). The hidden stuff is quite fun like collecting the Baal battle pet. So yes some fun there.
Pet Battles - it is still ok but not everyone is into that, but for me still fun.
Role play - can be fun if you find a decent group of players but can be shocking if you stumble into the inn in Goldshire. The folks in there are a little bit strange. Once again not everyone is into that so can be fun just be careful where you travel too and who you talk too.
So to summarize pet battles, collections and role play that is still ok fun. The spread is a little thin for people paying a monthly subscription. I can understand why players leaving the game especially if pet battles and role play is not your thing.
why donât you create a premade mythic, pick up a shield and sword and be the tank? easy queue, you decide where to go, youâre the leader and nobody can kick you but leave where they can be replaced easily.

Sometimes groups are willing if you say âcan we do the WQ pleaseâ and other times you just have to join or make a mythic dungeon group just to do the quest if itâs something you really want.
You can easily mitigate that problem by using the LFG and forming your own group, explicitly stating you will do that specific dungeon and the WQ mobs. Fill in the grp and then just que using the LFD, since your grp will be full and all the ppl there are in for the WQ you will have insta que and you will surely complete the WQ.
Be a Tank with a Hunter now that would be a first.
I did ask and got the reply âno we have wasted enough timeâ. I am not willing to que for 20 min to get a ânoâ then keep queuing 20 min repeatedly until I maybe get a âyesâ.
People use LFD to que for dungeon WQs, they tend not to look in the group finder for groups to do normal dungeons. So this might take even longer. Mythic+ dungeons that would work if you make your own group, not normal or heroic dungeons. Positive people in LFD riiiiggghhhhtttt???
your mistake was using LFD - i bet that it was on normal .
what you should have done is made premade group for quest for mythic 0 demand like 380 itlv and do it 10 times faster then normal dungeon
in incoming patch we will see quite a lot of dungeon groups for quests for mythic 0 since a lot of people will be doin them for rings/trinkets because invasions dont drop them - for example my shaman is 360 but still runing with 330 trinkets because no luck on WB and to lazy to farm lfr for it.
