At this point it’s getting really tiresome to get into groups for mythic dungeons and having people leave after they kill the boss that drops what they want and suffer no consequences for wasting peoples time and lockouts since it much less likely to get or try ti get into another group if you are already saved for some bosses and i think blizzard really needs to crack down on this behaviour
Look - if I see a group in m0 and there is “one boss left” I might actually happily join it.
it’s 10 crests for 1 boss kill and no other bosses - it’s perfect
Ye, replacing might be cringe but just make some networking and play with buds - I don’t have all those “leaver” problems myself really - saw it happen rarely but I never felt it was this big. But it’s anecdotal - it definitely happens if people say it does. I remember WoD and resource 1 boss kill farming
but the authoritarian regime methods to slave people into staying under ban might only result in malicious compliance you know?
If I was forced to stay in a dungeon I don’t want - I could just autoattack the entire time - not AFK so can’t be punished - you can’t punish bad gameplay - then kicking an actual bad player would result in disproportionate punishments…
you can’t find an easy solution for this, you know? If you add rigid ID then someone failing a run won’t find another group etc.
Just… soon you are gonna do M+ - you will ahve other stuff to worry about than m0 or heroic run leavers
I thought I would test the waters earlier on a Mage that was item ilvl 585 and apply for groups doing m0 runs to see how long it would take.
It took about 30 minutes before I got into a group and that group had something in the description about this dungeon being for learning. In the dungeon we wiped a couple of times because other people were learning it but it was pretty much the most chill group I’ve had in years.
I get that players want to secure their dungeon runs to make sure that it completes but some of them are way too picky.
Quite a few players already don’t need the second crests anymore and don’t need most of the drops. Delves and crafted gear make M0 relatively unnecessary as a source of gear.
The exception are trinkets like the Sacbrood and the Changeling, both of which drop from the first boss in the respective dungeons. I got mine in a friend group pretty quickly, but it doesn’t surprise me that people leave after the first boss. Mists is long and tedious, and the end boss in City of Echoes is probably not fun in pugs.
i love, when ppl always want bans to player, which normal play the game.
In m0 you formed/joined the group, if this is happening, its your own fault, that you cant have trusted mates and go with rnd ppl from the street
