I am against duo BUT if its shorten the Q times i take it 100%
At the end how cares it will be anyway a lot of random factors if you climp or not

if u q at 7-8 am its prob worst time ⌠at from 9 pm till 2 am the queue is always less than 3 minutes⌠sometimes its 30 seconds
I agree with this. They shouldnt have added duo but w/e.
From a healer perspective, if Iâm forced to choose between SS or Blitz, Iâd rather do SS as your influence can be much more noticeable. Allowing healers to queue with a DPS is akin to throwing them a bone as thereâs (more often than not) so many BGs where DPS are just doing headless chicken shenanigans, and it ainât fun at all when that happens.

or when a healer grabs kotmogu orb gets tunnelled has to healbot himself, dies, whole team dies, and in the scoreboard it wil look like he has the points and the heals, and enemy healers winning with less heals because they isntant whipe your team
Depends also on mmr, not only time. If you are like 2.4k mmr then at weekend morning it doesnât even give you time estimate (or it gives, 40 minutes). And then later in the day also depends on amount of players (from 6 minutes up to 15 minutes).
But in general its nowhere as bad as SS, so point of duoq being less waiting in q is ridiculous at any mmr lol.
today i finished my âPlacementsâ and finally the game decided to pump my mmr⌠queues usually are around 5-6 minutes, sometimes 10, im okay with it, the amtches were great, out of the 3 i lost, 2 were literally me playing bad, which is a feeling i missed for the longest f timeâŚ
And this doesnt incur in shuffles?
They should add one for solo shuffle where you can queue up with 2 or 3.

If a duo do this, then they lose the game, and will stuck at 0 CR and will be eventially bellow 1000 MMR
I played a lot of Blitz (~500 brawl and ~100 rated), both duo/solo as DD and also as healer. There is not much difference, even if you queue duo you canât carry a team who decides to farm damage done on a blood dk while the enemy team takes all other bases.
I usually prefer to play with a friend (not much of them playing nowdays), but if no one is online i queue as solo. But if I queue duo i never pocket heal my partner, except when we defending a base because i know that he is watching the flag and never let them ninja cap (sure, i also healing everyone but he is top prio when i have to dispell CC or if everyone in low HP i will heal him first)
If Blizz makes the matchmaking duo vs duo and maybe limit it to only 1 duo / side itâs should be good. But removing the option would be bad.
The mode is named solo which they have made possible to que duo, there isnt much else to say about it
It doesnt make much sense to me at all but doesnt affect me enough to not play it over shuffle in tww so I dont really mind oneway or other, its better than shuffle and everyone will play it. I just play whatever everyone else plays cause I dont want to sweat in dead brackets in wows rated system, anything else is just nonrelevant for me.
Actually i donât understand this sudden outrage about duo queue. Itâs worked like this since this mode exists (8 months). The âSoloâ is indeed somewhat misleading, but the description is there which clearly states âYou can duo queue as healerâ.
It were better when it were named Blitz, they changed the name into Solo and now it just doesnt make sense. Half of 8 man will highly likely consist of 2man teams. Blitz was just name for the mode but Solo is definition of singular so its misleading as name yeah.
Theres not much room left for choise in wows rated system when the whole system is based entirely on participation separately for each specific modes so we who just play for fun will play what everyone else plays anyway no matter what its called duo or solo. Im just not gonna play dead brackets with this system so Ill play Solo, I mean Ill play duobg as solo, as queing alone to it
its not sudden, people, myself included said it multiple times, only now its getting into ranked and more people are voicing wanting a complete FAIR enviroment where everyone is alone
heal dps also doesnât work as well for some classes compared to some S tier combinations, and i know u gonna say âyeah but thats just pvpâ yeah, but, its one thing to have randomly people coordinating, and its another thing having them in duo, probably voice, and calling eachother shots, like cds, mia and so on
example: if i mass polymorph or db ring 2 players who are duo, to steal a base, if they BOTH trinket or NEITHER do, i have a legit shot, but what if they communicate who trinkets, or im bursting and the healer ask if the dps needs PS or defensives and the dps is like âno i wall thisâ and so on
its just not fair
if feels like if someone was 1.8 and duo with someone 1.8 if they play properly, they authomatically become more annoying than facing 2 2.1 randoms coordination is just too convenient, not to mention w/e is busted each season like picking the strongest dps into the strongest healer and just having the best odds at winning constantly, over time it puts u higher and higher in the ladder
Why dont you Just also play the strongest dps ?
If a healer is that broken , like priest was last season , 80% of player will play it anyway , so you can also âabuse itâ.
mage is not the strongest dps, and it doesntâ do that well with a healer compared to classes that have very good pressure for extended period of time and also alot of self healing
