Dunno. That’s what I always think of discord servers. The only one that so far has been great was the booty bay one.
Otherwise the Duskwood one is mildly A-word. Atleast it was in the past. Because somehow people have sad existences that rely on talking bad about others. Be it RP or IRL stuff. Really annoying when you RP with someone and then get told something about someone else that you don’t care about over and over and over.
Seems pointless having a discord for a zone.
I can proudly say that the 18+ channel has been successfully removed with the appointment of a new server admin. The power for anyone to generate invite links has, also, been removed.
Please do contact the admin(s) should you wish to join the community!

I knew I’d come back here and see tons of drama in the thread. That zone is cursed. From Scythius to Malum, there’s always something awful going on, icly or oocly. Usually both. Christ.

Scythius was a nasty man to say the least. However at least Malum was always a good person OOC. Try not to compare them.
I think it’s more the issue of two opinions clashing. Good has to win and bla bla bla, you know the drill. If that idea is not happening then the crying happens. Some people like Malum try to find some agreement OOC and others just lash out when you try to attack their opinion of what is going to happen.
To prevent situations like that communication is important. Dunno who Scythius is but I just assume it’s another failed communication and different opinions of what should happen situation. I think the zone is not cursed and just humans that don’t understand the importance of communication.
IC’ly I agree and it’s great. OOC? Probably too. But then it comes down to either miscommunication or just powerhungry people that have actually no control over anything since it’s WoW.
Did you ask each person if you could post their adds? If not, remove them pls.
Also Scythius had bad OOC communitcation IC and OOC and it’s a good thing he quit.
I’d prefer if people keep away from posting my information without my consent, mhm? Besides, discord filters messages away from non-friends. As for the “drama of the zone” it’s what you make of it. I don’t actively blow Up drama, and as such I’ve had quite the good times in duskwood ^^.
Yeah no… I did not accept having my information out in the open. If someone want an invite to either of the servers, why not whisper one of those who frequently RPs in the zone… No need to post tags like that
Ah yes, I can already see the amazing communication that is taking place here. Clearly, this Discord server will be great and not another drama fest of failed communication.
Basically the guy is just trying to stir trouble or so it seems.
I find it somewhat weird that someone agrees to be a community Admin, decided to restricts invites and then denies people to use the easiest way to get said invite.
There’s a difference between giving your tag to people yourself and someone posting them on the forums without your permission.
This communication is 10/10, would communicate again.
