Dwarf Druids

We know lore wise that Dwarf Druids exist, through the Wildhammer.

We know in Cataclysm Dwarves got Shaman because of Wildhammer

We know in Shadowlands Dwarves got Wildhammer tattoos, hairstyles, and feathers.

So my question is… where are the Dwarf Druid class?

Here is a link further explaining why they should be available:

What would their forms be?

Isn’t Dwarf Druids in the same boat as Human Shamans lorewise?

I’m not sure about human shamans or human lore in general.

But I do know Wildhammer are the most nature loving tribe. They build their homes with woods and leaves. They have a very strong bond with Gryphons and consider them part of the family. They wear feathers, and they have a strong bond with the elves (High elves and in some cases night elves)

Our bear form could literally be a gargon :exploding_head:

Someone made amazing art showcasing what the forms would be:

That would be actually cool and it would balance the druid races (since Horde has more now).

And it would give the Dwarves some extra spotlight. They are a bit underrated when it comes to Alliance races.

Most go for elves or Humans

I am indeed supportive of Dwarf Druids, and it seems like giving one additional Alliance the Druid class is in order for balancing the numbers. Right now the two Horde races Tauren and Darkspear Trolls in addition to the two allied races Highmountain Tauren and Zandalari Trolls have druids, while only Night Elfs, Worgen, and Kul Tiran have druids on Alliance side.

Although for the balancing I would think that Blizzard would prefer giving this class to a secondary allied race instead - if the distinction between races and allied races is being maintained.

Mechagnome - meh
Void elves - No
Dark iron- definitely not
Lightforged - no

It doesn’t make sense for any of the allied races to get a Druid class, yet we have a race (Wildhammer dwarves) who perfectly match that option culture wise. And it’s also a popular request (at least on the US forums)

So yeah I don’t really think it’s necessary to create balance by adding it to a Allied race, I would rather they add it to something that makes sense (and is a popular request at the same time)

These would be the forms:

Teddy - Tank
Kitten - Cat Form
Barn Owl - Boomkin (this one would be pretty cool)
Gold Fish - Swimming
Mount goat - Travel Form
Wolpentinger - Bonus Form

p.s. Removed Dwarfs from game… thanks.

What about a gnome druid…

You want a race with vanity pet sized forms?

A race that value technology and tinkering, live in a icy cold area. Have no feelings towards nature. How would that work?

Much of that applies to Dwarves, too…

Maybe Bronzebeard Dwarves. But not Wildhammer Dwarves

You do know they live in Forrest areas, build their homes with earth/leaves/wood, and have a strong love for nature.

Unless you segregate for an Allied Race, OG Dwarf has to cover both… and that presents the quandry

Dark irons do not care about nature
Wildhammers are as much nature aligned as can be w/o going WC3 Nelf levels.
Bronzebeards are somewhere in the middle.

That’s not going to happen. Blizzard said they aren’t creating a separate zone for these races, instead added them as customizations to races that look similar to them.

Hence why Sand troll was given to Darkspear

Wildhammer tattoos, feathers, and hairstyles was given to Dwarves. Creating them as their own race would be a waste of time since they look very similar. I can link the interview if you want.

Also, I’m pretty sure Dwarves don’t want to lose extra customization as well as the Shaman class in the process of separation. Imagine how much they would lose
