Hi guys. I want to make a hunter, which one should I choose, in terms of appearance and pets, Dwarf or Dark Iron? Thanks.
Me personally, I have always played Dwarfs. Then they released the Dark Iron. Every single alliance char I make is now Dark Iron
But also, I feel like you get better racial with Dark Iron for hunter

Dark iron dwarf is the best choice in all situations.
Remember that, the only time not being a dark iron dwarf is a good option is if your class cant be a dark iron dwarf. And at that point i question ur class choice.

Regular dwarf is still cool and the 2% crit damage bonus is nice. I’d make one of those and give him some cool tattoo’s.

I like to play the 3 clan dwarves. Bronzebeard, Wildhammer, and Dark iron.
The Bronzebeard and Wildhammer are kind of mixed together Due to customization, much like the void/high elves.
For Bronzebeard I like:
Hunter (with a bear pet)
Warrior
Paladin
Wildhammer:
Shaman
Druid (in the future)
Hunter: (with a gryphon pet)
Dark iron:
Hunter: (with a fire bow and fire pet)
Shaman (anything other than resto)
Destro Warlock
Fire mage

Dwarf.
Dark Iron dwarves have some cool options, but I really dislike the ‘hair on fire’ thing. Wish there was a way to disable it, like void elves can disable the tentacles in their hair. Also: regular dwarves just have many more customization options at this point in time.
Allied races need to be brought up to par.

I’m sure once they receive their customization updates this might be an option. Hopefully it doesn’t cut the hair In half like it did with void elves.
Other races that didn’t receive their customizations is: Kul Tiran, Vulpera, mechagnomes, Voidy void elves, Zandalari.

Thematically I think normal Dwarf is the better choice, riding a bear with bear pets. Fits with the classic cinematic and with this set it just looks perfect: https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=2023/battlegear-of-the-savage-hunt-normal-lookalike

Really depends what look you’re going for. I’d say that if you want to go with a pet, regular dwarf would be better. Without it, though, both are nicely usable. I’d say that normal dwarves fill a cozy look much better, while dark irons the more… fiery one.

Original Dwarf seems more fitting for a hunter but that’s just me.

I prefer DI due to the mole machine teleport & the racial that turns debuffs into damage buffs.
Also the burny beard is a plus, but they dont have as good looking beards as the og dwarfs.
