[Dwarf-RP] Cerulean Wardens

Greetings everyone,

I’ve always wanted to start a Wildhammer Dwarf guild, but due to the lack of any blue markings, it just didn’t feel right. Now with the upcoming release of Shadowlands and the increased customization options, I believe now is the right time to start this adventure together!

Who are the Cerulean Wardens?

Brief
Type : Gryphon Riders aiding the Alliance on all fronts
Style : Military (Wildhammer structure)
Combat : Mostly DM adventures with RP-PVE
Focus : Events and Social.
Restrictions : Due to the Wildhammers only teaching their own, or at the very least Dwarves, there’s a strict limit on races that can apply. Dwarves are the priority while Humans may apply as well. Although I will try to keep the ratio 3:1 at all times.
Faction : Alliance

The guild revolves around Wildhammer RP where nature and beast is at the forefront. Training and working with your gryphon as a friend rather than a pet is the red line through our RP adventures. The RP events will consist of us going into mounted combat against our enemies, or assist other Alliance guilds with whatever aid with can give them.

Due to the particular niche, all clans of Dwarves are welcome, except the Dark Iron, to be trained into gryphon riders to prevent the guild from drying up. Naturally, I’d prefer people having Wildhammer Dwarves, but just like with Pandaren guilds, some flexibility must be required to make the guild work.

What are the current ranks?

Wing Commander - This is the Title for the guildmaster who commands the Cerulean Warden wing. The Commander will issue orders and strategize new missions.

Squadron Commander - Squadron Commanders are the officers of the guild and have command of their own squad of 4 to 5 Gryphon Riders. During battle they issue their own orders to their squad to make sure the objective that the Wing Commander has set is achieved.

Quartermaster - For any proper functioning Wing, a Quartermaster is appointed to make sure all the equipment is available and ready. An excellent opportunity for tradecraft players.

Flight Master - The highest rank which can be attained without receiving a leading role. These members have proven themselves in combat with their gryphon as well as a functioning warrior within the Cerulean Wardens.

Bombardier - These are the largest group within the Cerulean Wardens and are the frontline. Aspiring Gryphon Riders and Seasoned Warriors alike will have the rank of bombardier at their initial joining. They will be in constant training to attain the rank of Flight Master.

As the guild grows, a Discord will be setup to have OOC chat in with the guild when not in WoW.

RP Activity

We all know how busy Real Life can be so there are no specific times at which you will HAVE to be online. There will be regular events in the weekends and sometimes throughout the week. If your agenda allows it, we will welcome you.

Regular activity times will be from 20:00 to 23:00. There is an AFK period of max 30 days at which your char will be removed. Via Discord one can announce an extended absence so we are up-to-date.

Actual RP Quests!

Aside from the regular main guild events, there’s a quest board that has selectable missions on it. These are shorter events that may be played out in the Discord chat as IC-Roleplay or in-game with a DM. Once a quest has been selected by members who wish to team up for it, they will be issued all the details. This can also be a great opportunity for beginner-DM’s to have a go at getting their feet wet.

tl;dr - The time for the Wildhammer Dwarves has begun. Experience Gryphon Riding combat, flying stormhammers, and Dwarven shenanigans in a guild dedicated to maintaining that lovely atmosphere we so enjoy in RP.

A little sad that you sort of have to dilute the concept because of the lack of Wildhammer RPers, but it’s completely unterstandable from an OOC viewpoint (though the IC situation of the Wildhammers makes it reasonable there, too). Wish you lots of luck. Sounds pretty good.
