Dude Its Classic Vanilla Not retail. Can do it there

SoD is not Era, stop with your “no changes” nonsense, some changes are needed to make the game better or more accessible in SoD.

I can just make another account but I don’t want to pay twice.

At what point stop being classic and star being retail?
Was TBC already retail?

Nobody says “no changes”. Just not changes that contradict with the design philosophy of classic, like emptying the game of any meaning because you want quality of life improvements.

Its Classic plus. The Essence still will be Classic. Sod will Not BE retail 2.0 when do people understand it. Ofc there will be Changes but Not this. thats Not Classic Its retail

After wotlk imo

WotLK feels more like retail than to Vanilla/TBC.

Seems reasonable
Still shaman to the alliance and paladin to the horde wasa tbc thing Should still be considerable “classic” right?
Having the tauren as a paladin (undead whould also work) and the Dwarf as a shaman don’t require new races and still be considerable “classic” material

Classic stops at vanilla. Everything else is retail.

True , TBC they did it, i forgot

To be fair
Tauren paladin and Dwarf shaman were implemented in cataclysm
But if we don’t want new races, using the existing one is a good compromise

Classes having more than 2 buttons to press is also retail and not classic, yet thats what we have in SoD.

Introducing new races that have a fitting story and a whole new expansion with it is one thing. Just giving a bunch of races other class options because of quality of life improvements is another.

You guys are so superficial when it comes to the difference in design approaches between classic and retail. By limiting accessibility to things you create rarity, value and uniqueness.
Shamans are a horde thing now, and palas are for alliance, that gives a certain spin to the classes, which creates a nice vibe.

You dont want to end up with everyone being able to do everything, because it ruins the atmosphere, and thats one of the main differences between classic design and retail.

you are just scared to face totems and mass purge you bone bag  :face_vomiting: :face_vomiting:

this is truth and you all know it but have to admit it
(i’m for undead not tauren paladin, blizz smoked something bad when choosed taurens :face_vomiting: , even trolls are a better choice than taurens)

  • Blizz surely planned to add it in Vanilla but made it as a new extension.
  • back in the days of Vanilla, 95% of players were mouseclickers, so less impact than now with all these add-ons, knowledge of mechanics and macros, alliance shaman and horde paladin is way more needed now, in SoD and even in Era

That won’t kill the spirit of Vanilla and have nothing new, nothing in common with retail new classes and chips

The undead paladins seems like much more fun idea. And it has some lore reason because of undead’s connection to humans.
