So, our whirlwind visit to Pandaria is complete. And oh boy, what a time we had

We started with a short overnight sea journey from Stormwind to Lion’s landing in Krasarang wilds, Which to the amazement of all involved neither Pirate raids or giant Kraken attacks :skull_and_crossbones: :squid: :anchor: We must of done something nice in a previous life

The scars of the war there was plain to see, but as we departed the crater-marked sands of the beach we soon entered the dark foreboding jungle on our way West :deciduous_tree:  :tiger:

Unfortunately we quickly found ourselves at the feet of the Ruins of Dojan where our Shamans sensed a water elemental in need :ocean: :droplet: quickly gathering ourselves we battled through Mogu, stone golems and a dark Mogu sorcerer to free the ensnared water elemental!

Gaining the water spirits appreciation we escorted it West to a safe lake and our first camp. The following day saw us undertake our first task in order to make Lightning steel, bartering purified Ghost Iron ore from the nearby Jinyu village
 :fish: :pick:

There we found the village under ferocious Saurok attack as they looted the jinyu of the Ore and other valuables. With our task clear we battled beneath the falls to put down the lizard Horde-- nearly overwhelmed, our new friend the water elemental drowned the Saurok and saved our bearded hides. There we found the Ore we sought and many other artifacts
 :coin: :moneybag:

Two days later we had arrived in the picturesque land of the four winds, and the village of Halfhill where we took time to Relax and engage in the most liver abusive and ridiculous set of drinking games our Dwarves have ever partook in alongside our friends in the Celestial Circle :beers: :clinking_glasses:

With our alcohol tolerance thoroughly tested we set out north to Kun-lai, taking the much marveled and knee breaking thousand steps to the Tavern in the mists, through a Saurok infested cave an on to Binan village
and the awe striking peaks of Kun-Lai

Settled into the Mountaineering village of One-keg (our now favorite village name), we undertook a wide array of activities. Unfortunately the local Hozen remembered my Wizard from a previous adventure and decided they wanted to steal his Bacon-sandwich spawning heart, via a brutalized kidnapping and decapitation
 lovely. :man_mage: :sandwich: :drop_of_blood:

With the hasty intervention of the rest of the Morodinir the Wizard kept his head (and more importantly the hat). With that done, we took it upon ourselves to try some mountaineering, braving the deadly climb to the peak of Neverest! :pick: :mountain_snow: :snowflake:

With that escapade done we set out for Zouchin village where we did battle with-- well, okay this is a weird one. We helped a pair of left behind Zandalari get their boat back so they could go home. We absolutely did not get intoxicated in a cloud of their herbal
 ‘Remedies’, nope. :smoking: :hut: :desert_island:

With that, we braved the mountain passes with the aid of a wizened Grummle on our way to the steppes of Townlong, making our way past Yaungol, Mantid, and Mist lurkers! :ox: :beetle: :skull: Even taking the time to appreciate the temple of Niuzao :cow:

From there it was on to our last stop, the dreaded isle of Thunder :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain: :japanese_ogre: :t_rex:

Dodging Devilsaurs, Ghosts, Mogu, stone constructs
we eventually found our way into the Forge of thunder where we made our much desired lightning steel ingots :zap: :hammer_and_pick:

and then promptly portalled to the Vale of eternal blossoms to enjoy some beers and relaxation, thank the titans!

What an absolutely whirlwind, amazing adventure! Huge thanks to the Celestial circle for making us welcome!

Meanwhile, Morgrim has been hard at work on many, MANY artistic WIP’s, such as the one below of our guilds three Huscarls: Eadwald Kragfoot, Hruroth Runebraid and Morgrim Coalhammer

Looking forward to seeing it finished. Grimner on the other hand has created another masterpiece of animation, showing the Morodnir’s dark irons exiting a mole machine!

New adventures always on the Horizon for the Stouthearted kin! :mountain_snow: :hammer_and_pick: :shield:

Today the Morodnir’ll set out on the start of a new adventure. Part of our next grand chapter which will focus on friends, allies and the terrors of the second war left long buried.

It is my honor to bring this next chapter which I have dubbed “Fall of the Felemental” to our members and rest assured that the adventure will be documented here all the same.

Thrre are also a few other things coming in later today such as the announcement of a new tall tales time and a new event called “the ramruckus”. Look out for that.

We have officially begun our “Fall of the Felemental” arc. This particular story will focus on the shadows of the past as the Morodnir must soon race against the clock to defeat their dark adversary.

Arriving in Burning steppes the Dwarves had expected to find a bothersome band of stray gnolls. Little did they know that a dark hand was steering the gnolls from the shadows. Having them scour the ashes for a mysterious artifact known as “The cane of fetid dreams.”

The hunt for this terrible artifact has now led the Morodnir to the camp of the Black tooth grin clan. But will they be able to get their hands on it before the gnolls do?

More on that later!

What if Hruroth is secretly a warlock and he hates warlocks because that’s what warlocks do: they hate other warlocks.

Clan favorite remains diggy diggy hole though, gets at least a few dwarves dancing when it’s played everytime! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Nah, clan favorite song is the one about “My gryphon brings all the dwarves to the yard” or something like that.

You promised you’d never tell

But naturally the whole guild loves the old Tolkien movie classics, as well from other genre’s. We have a fair few fine writers too that have cooked up a few nice songs too that get recited at “Tall Tales”. Music is life, afterall. :musical_note:

High time for a proper update so all of you can read what we have been up to.

Where last we left of the Morodnir had been called to the burning steppes to investigate the presence of a mysterious band of gnolls. These cackling curs were reportedly responsible for the disappearance of serveral Dark iron kinsmen.

After delving deep into this mystery the group found out that these gnolls served a warlock called Erzogg Doomflayer. Erzogg a survivor of the shadow council had set his eyes on a staff called the ‘Cane of fetid’ dreams. While the cane possessed the ability to warp the voice of the elements, Erzogg’s intention with the artifact are far from clear.

After tracking down the warlock to the Altar of storms in the shadow of blackrock mountain itself the group vanquished him.
It was not Erzogg’s final defeat however, as the wily orc used a soulstone to escape death’s clutches and flee with the Cane of fetid dreams to parts unknown.

With Erzogg’s motives and whereabouts unclear the Morodnir has set out on other adventures as they remain vigilant for any word about Erzogg.

That concludes the first part of the “rise of the felemental plot”.
Soon we shall begin part two and bring the shadows of the past to bear.

In regards to other adventures we have signed ourselves up for the astranaar market and have begun making our way there for a grand time.

That brings everyone back up to date.
If you are wanting to ask abouf the guild or wish to know more about us come by and ask our members anything you’d like to know.

In other news the Morodnir is on the lookout for new friends in both guilds and individuals so if you or your guild are interested in becoming a friend pf the Morodnir feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

Lastly on the topic of guild recruitment, we have found ourselves short on healers. So if you ever want to try the concept of a Dwarven healer then we definitely have a place for you.
