The Morod are returning home to Khaz-modan after a wonderful few days in Ashenvale!
Good business was had in elven lands, delivery of smithed goods will soon be in order!
Stay tuned for Morâo this!
Hello!
As a new Dwarf i was wondering exactly how can i find the Dwarves of Morodnir.
These days you can find us mostly in Ironforge!
Even though tomorrow we will be in Thelsamar I believe!
This week we have taken it easy. But there are a few things to look forward to.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) we shall make for Thelsamar to enjoy the opening of a new tavern!
On saturday Morgrim shall organize a sparring sessions among our own giving the Morodnir a chance to test their mettle.
Next week things really kick off as we launch the second and final chapter of our âRise of the felementalâ storyline in which weâll track down the Orc warlock Erzogg Doomflayer.
The best Dwarves. When you left Astranaar you also left a hole in my heart.
I wish we could of stayed longer, but adventure is abound and waits for no child of Khaz-modan!
The Morod are currently in Arathi hunting an Orc warlock, and there are plans for an expedition to Uldum next week!
Meanwhile, somewhere in DalaranâŠ
Best dwarves on this side of the Thandol Span
I think an update has been long overdue.
The Morodnir have been having their share of adventure.
First the group chased down a pack of Dragonmaw orcs in the wetlands. And learned from them that their old foe Erzogg Doomflayer had been hiding in the foothills of the Arathi Highlands.
Not wanting to waste time the Dwarves set out to confront their dark foe. But this proved to be far from easy.
Erzogg had laid his plan meticulously and gathered a great host of lesser demons and Dark Horde remnants to his side, sequestering them away in a hidden valley.
From here the old warlock worked to bring about a dark scheme. To twist the cane of fetid dreams (An artifact the Dwarves had tried to keep out of his hand previously) to his will and bind the local spirits of flame to his whims.
The Morodnir managed to fight their way through Erzoggâs vanguard (including a particularly bloody battle over a river bridge) and prepared to assault Erzoggâs stronghold. A ruined leftover from the great campaigns of the second war.
These dark defences did not avail him however as Erzoggâs black might could not avail against Dwarven fury, after a long hard battle the Dwarves claimed victory and put a stop to Erzoggâs plot for good.
Now the Morodnir have taken up a new adventure. Setting out to the far flung lands of Uldum to uncover ancient secrets of the titans and write a good story along the way.
in other news. Our recruitment policy has been a thing many people have had questions about. We close and open recruitment as often as we think the guild can allow. Right now recruitment is open. With priority given to those who are proficient in healing.
If you wish to be recruited however we ask that you come to find us for some rp first so we can get to know your character and determine if they fit the group.
Feel free to contact any member for additional information or contact me personally to arrange something.
See you in the next adventure!
Seems my Morodnir kin have been busy in the Sands of Uldum this week, braving the burning sun, bite of the sands and generally just lacking in aleâŠ
Thankfully, the nights are getting longer, and the dark offered occasional ârespiteâ as they made their way across the dunes to a safe camp!
Having found refuge, they soon set about exploring the local town, and then off to bother some titan keepers, delve a few tombs and explore forgotten places of antiquity!
There was even time to try one of those new fangled Gnomish image machine doo-hickysâŠ
Weâre not sure theyâll catch on.
With that done it was back across the Dunes to a near abandoned port to-- fight a strange pirate-sorcerer and his army of⊠hozen? Wait whatâŠ
Honestly I leave you guys alone for four weeks and the shenanigans! yikesâŠ
The Morod with journey complete sailed back to the Eastern kingdoms to take it easy before resuming their adventures!
Dwarves be dwarfinâ
Went from desert straight to frozen mountain peaks, from blazing heat to frigid cold.
There is no in-between.
So⊠We ended up in Northrend again, after our easily persuaded Leader had a very encouraging âdreamâ about an ancient shrine in the Storm peaks. Needless to say, it was enough for us, and on an adventure we went! Hurrying by Gryphon in order to beat the oncoming winter windsâŠ
Upon our arrival in Northrend we made quick movements to the Grizzly hills, where we immediately ran into trouble with a mad druid and his posse of supporters wanting to make âGrizzly hills green againâ. In the chaos that ensued we got shot down, mauled, burned, besieged and attacked by a giant bearâŠ
Though we did manage to sneak in a little hunting trip before we moved onâŠ
On from there we moved to ZulâDrak, which despite our caution resulted in us being scattered by a swarm of giant Blood sucking zombie batsâŠ
Thankfully we managed to regroup before pressing into the Storm peaks and setting up camp on the snowy slopes! Though we did have to chase of some surly, shadow-addled elemental worshiping crones beforehandâŠ
And what sights we came across in these mountains, historical wonders and mysteries!
Before long we came across an ancient but wise Earthern that told us of a rogue elemental lord that had ensnared the Harpy, and that in exchange for defeating them and their master he would repair Frolbarâs titansteel shield!
So we set about it, slaying void addled elements, shadow tainted giant and some screeching harpy along the way!
With our enemies defeated we convened atop an ancient temple where the earthern set about repairing the shield, When suddenly the Void corrupted elemental lord attacked! Fending him off, the shield was finished just in time to stop the foe dying breath attack in its tracks!
And then it was back to Ironforge for Beer, storyâs and meeting new friends!
Weâre always busy in the Morodnir, and we canât wait to see what our coming travels bring! Dragonflight is around the corner, and Adventure awaits!
We got visited by elves⊠In Aerie Peak. We may or may not get some of them addicted to ale.
The greateat meeting of mountain and forest since Birnam forest came to Dunsinaine Hill!
We are humbled by the warm welcome we have received during our visit to Aerie Peak and the Hinterlands. Itâs been a marvellous time and we greatly enjoyed fighting side by side with our new dwarven friends in an epic battle last night!
If you are looking for quality dwarven RP, there is truly no place better than the Dwarves of the Morodnir.
A huge thanks to our Nightblade friends for inviting us along to the finale of your campaign against the renegade forces of the Rosevine druids! Was a blast!
And in particular thank you for inviting us to your Feather ceremony! the tokens were very much appreciated, and beautiful may I add!
Though Iâm having trouble getting the sparkles out of the beardâŠ
Weâre already looking forward to the next time!
Now where oh where shall the Morodnir go nextâŠ
Wanted to share some of the sketches I made for my guildies on here!
