Im farming for cidner bee and it looks like it will rain.Wish rain would fall.Dynamic weather in wow would be awesome.Im sure this engine can handle it.Please make it blizz.

We had proper weather ages ago, like darker nights, but for some reason Blizz removed it or made them incredibly rare…

In the meantime you can use the “Date Simulation Modulator” to have different weather effects.

Aye… the game looks so good with Inky Dark potions. Places like Ardenweald just look amazing with it.

Wish for just darker nights and heavy rain. Having played a lot of recent games like Stalker 2, Assassins Creed Shadows, God of War Ragnarok etc, the lack of real weather in WoW was noticeable when I returned.

One thing I wish they’d enable would be RTX everywhere. It actually looks good in WoW, but its only visible in Ashran - Warspear as far I know.

Look how good this looks? Imagine that, but everywhere.

Would be fun in the open calm world.
But raids, bgs? With the current spell effects sometimes throttling strong PCs, it will take a NASA supercomputer if we want to add in RTX lol.

thing with the throttling is that it isn’t even coming close to maxing your PC. I have a 4070 Super and a 7800X3D and this game uses basically none of my computer while in raid, yet it still lags. Still, even just having it disabled in raids would be more than enough for me. i’m in a 20 man amirdrassil right now nuking bosses and it uses 20% of my cpu and 25% of my gpu.

my card doesnt even have ray tracing turbo intercooler shadows on it. :sa:

The game does still have weather effects - it was raining heavily in Dornogal on my shard earlier - but they are a very rare event - and IMO could benefit from more frequency.

I also do with the night phase was a lot darker - the world always looks gorgeous when I use Inky black potion and it would be nice to see it more often.
