Early access is 4 days, not 3

Everywhere it says that epic edition is 3 days early access. But its not, its 4 days, exactly 96 hours from early access release to the global release.

Did blizzard count wrong, or what happend here?

Beta Access and Early Access dates subject to change. Minimum Early Access duration is 3 days. Limited time only. Play time subject to possible outages and time zone differences. Certain endgame features, including Mythic dungeons and weekly quests, not available during Early Access. Click for more details.

What happened is people butchered the tale when it was retold.

What they said is that the minimal duration is 3 days, due time zones and ensure everyone can have their 3 days; it went to 4 days so there appears to be no problem.

Why would it be a problem anyway if people got 1 day more then promised anyway?

i would say the issue is not that they get 4 days, but that we are losing 1 day at theyre expense… in eu the game launches the 27th which no matter how you look at it is 96 hours, and we were told the game would launch 72 hours (3 days after the early acces, on the 26th. so doesnt matter what tíme zones is here and there, its still 96 HOURS later and not 72…

so when blizzard promises to launch a game 72 hours after the early acces period but then extend it to the 96 hours we feel screwed. no matter what time zone you live in your still not able to play the game earlier than 96 hours later

They never promised to launch 72 hours after Early Access.

Official launch has always been 3pm PT, August 26th, with Early Access launching a minimum of 3 days before that.

that is funny, because buying the editions CLEARLY states 3 days of early acces?

Yes it clearly states “minimum early access duration is 3 days.” as you were told several times by now.

having to go to another website than the official shop to buy the game that has all the info on what your getting should not be STANDARD practise… stop defending this as if its okay, you keep doing it, ITS not okay,

If you’re going to “Quote”, at least quite correctly.

no your literally wrong, and you need to go to the shop in blizzards app and look at the ultimate edition under the section of what your getting… please get your reading glasses on before posting this :slight_smile:

even in the description it states : includes everything in the Heroic Edition. Plus, you’ll have guaranteed Beta Access and Early Access (3 days) to The War Within⁴.

The BNET shop says the same thing as I quoted prior here on the site shop. Notice the little small ⁴ that you also quoted?

Ah, guys, gals, next week nobody’s gonna remember EA anymore when everybody starts whining again how toxic the dungeon community is and how boring the story is.
Just let them rant in their rooms and wait 'til their minds are distracted with all sorts of weird and wonderfull negative stuff to feed the forums.
