Earning the 4500 for Sergeant

I’m kinda confused what I need to do. I did a few Ashenvales last week and made sure I got in on any actual PVP that was going on. That barely got me 1000. I ran some WSG too. Every PUG I joined bar one went up against a premade. So that was all loses. I assume you get something, even if its a loss. And maybe when you hand the 3 marks in too. I mean how many of those do I need to do to earn the required CP/honor? I’d guess a flag carry might earn some too, I guess. If I’m lucky enough to get through and back in the rare cases I’m not fighting a full BFD geared coordinated / voice connected kill squad .

I am getting exhalted with wsg. Ashenvales i find boring to do and wsg is full of premades but i LOVE some actual pvp.

I hate being in a premade aswel… So boring winning every game. So i solo Q wsg. I que and if its a premade i just afk and do something els and reque after 5 min. (they lose very fast every time). And then i reque and hope its a PUG. Then i win PUG vs PUG 90% off the time. Its great fun. Just a little slower now that you have to dodge premades…

15k honor left till exhalted.

Awesome. That looks like some full 24/7 PVP there as WSG is the slowest BG to grind out.

I’d still like to know though - how many times, (assuming they are all loses and I never manage to cap a flag) would I need to do WSG to at least scrape the 4500 to get sergeant?

I mean if I have to run 200 then I’ll run 200. I just need to plan how many hours I need to commit.

join a premade as a shaman FC, you will get 4500 honor in an afternoon.

I would love to know this too - I am not a pvper but wanna work on rank as something a bit different, even knowing 99% of matches is a loss.

Dont wanna join premades cause i suck at pvp and premades kinda come with an expectation of knowing what you are doing

Tbh I just want the cloak. But yeh I’m in the same position. I’m not new to PVP or WSG or playing shaman. But all 3 combined is a new thing and I’m without doubt geared and specced wrong and using the wrong abilities. I’m pretty much dead weight right now for premades. Maybe a few weeks time I’ll be a well oiled machine. But that’s then and this is now.

Turn in 3 WSG marks and see how much honor that quest gives, I forgot how much. 50? 150 ish max? +25-35 ish honor per kill divided by the amount of ppl around.
It’s usually not THAT long, but if you play mostly solo vs premades where you get 0 kills and 1 mark per game it’s going to be a pain.

Deserter is 15min debuff, how do you req after 5 mins?

Unfortunately i dont remmber how much a turnin of 3 marks gives you, but if you planing to farm it just join a premaid.

You will win some and you will lose some, but dont turnnin your marks, keep them in the bag.
You limited for 20 in bags and the rest will go to your mail (if i remmber they will be in the mail for 24 hours).

If you see that you will manage to push your honor this week to 4.5K with the honor from Pvp fights turn them all in to puah it to 4.5k, if not keep them for next week push.

I have managed to do in like 4 hours couple days ago.

As undergeared shamn one of the best things you can do is Purge, purge and purge some more.

you dont get debuff… they win befor you get flagged for afk

Did 3 WSG. Lost 3 and I dont think horde capped once. After handing in the marks I was at around 275 honor. So purely by doing pugs I would estimate that needs to be done approximately 16 more times. Multiply that by 3 and thats around 45-50 games. SO I guess two lots of 3 a night minimum. Which isnt so bad I guess.

Til you look at like rank 5 to 6 and by same pattern the amount of input required, i seriously hope the next phases pvp event isnt as pve based and u can crew more honor a round

4500 honor is just 4 games in premade or smth
