I am desperately hoping that Earthen are actually just a cunning ruse by Blizzard and that the new race(s) are something less stupid. The bearded female dwarves are absolutely a joke from Blizzard.

I think its very lazy.
They dont fit into the Horde faction and alot more fitting races are out there.
And in the Alliance with gear on you will not even see a difference between dwarfs.
I am really interested in the numbers after 1 year of the release of the amount of people that created one or active play as oneā¦. I think this will be one of the least played races of them all.

to be fair this applies to more horde playable races like every single elf they have. So at this point its no suprise they add another bad reskin as a playable race so the other faction can play that race as well.

Iām so tired of blizzard āaddingā existing races, itās so lazyā¦ lightforged draenei, highmoutain tauren, mechagnomes all make no sense to me, they really could make cool races of them, for example highmoutain to look a bit more like tanuka, do make it differ somehowā¦
They could make these " NEW āā dwarf allied race to have at least crystal/ stone beards like they had in classic, atm they wonāt differ at all from regulad dwarves while they will be geared

Not even. Dwarves are dwarves. These are stone things who look like dwarves. Anyway, huge disappointment to me. If they wanted to give the Horde dwarves like they say, then give them a damned clan of normal honest to God dwarves.
that would be even worse because clan is even more similar to existing race, they could come up with something unique, earthen dwarves at least HAD potential to look differentā¦

At least that way the Alliance could have had a Horde race like, I donāt know, Alliance tauren or something stupid like fox things. Now everyone gets a dwarf-but-not-really.
Wouldnāt call it lazy but you wonāt catch me ever playing one. Or any dwarf for that matter. In fact, why donāt we just remove dwarves and gnomes. Possibly Worgen too. Oh, and the Dranei!

It became world of reskins and itās worrying, canāt they really give us races like tanuka, gnolls etc, tannuka would even match for alliance and gnolls for horde, they also wouldnāt have to do that much lore gymnastics like they did with draenei warlocks or eredar playableā¦

What is even more insane is that for some reason they change the races appearance so much that it doesnt even resembles what the players wanted.
I mean, Nightborn looked different than the NPCs, Mechagnomes look nothing like the mechagnomes people wanted for years and dont let me start with Voidelvesā¦
So even when I would rather have another raceā¦ WHY THE EARTHEN DONT HAVE STONE BEARDS? I meanā¦ dafuqā¦ they are completely out of stones why they grow hair?

yup they are just killing potential all the time, mechagnomes could be amazing race, nightbornes could be amazing race, and also earthen dwarves could be amazing race,
instead they seem to decided to add 3 the same looking races for every race, 3 literally the same elves, literally the same looking draenei, literally the same looking orcs, literally the same looking taurens( oh sorry they have different horns -,-) and they name it as āNEW RACEā lol

Agreedā¦ Morcs, DI-Dwarves, LF-Draenei, HM-Tauren and the abomination that is Mechagnomes should have been all just skin options for the OG-races instead of selling them as new race

I think its less about hate and more about they can go through with itā¦ We get so many reskins in everything its insane.
Like using the same skeleton for mounts and when they change a little they can say its a completely different mount and just use paint to change the colour and make 6 variants and call it a day.
Problem is the majority of players seem to like to get ripped off, for some reasons.
Honestly they could have used the dwarf skeleton to make, I donāt know, stubby humans or stubby orcs, bodybuilder gnomes, chubby undead. I donāt know why they decided to give us a race that nobody seems to care about.
I think there is a playerbase that wants themā¦ I really love dwarves and love the earthen.
BUT I still dont think we need 4 elves, 3 dwarves or other races we allready have as a new race.
And even more important the people that wanted the earthen wanted pure stone/mineral dwarvesā¦with stone and crystal beards like we have ingame.
Like all mechagnome fans wanted the mechagnomes from ulduarā¦ and not the diaper-gnomes we have now
imo itās one of reasons people donāt like to participate in activities that much anymore, if rewards are unique, doing something and getting it is more satisfying and progress towards it feels more rewarding.
now who would waste time for another mount that is just a bit more red than the same mount you already haveā¦
