I was more questioning calling Forest Trolls a ‘unique’ race.

Well, tbh while I would love forest trolls, I dont see them as that much different either.
Just like most allied races, they could just be an option for the OG trolls. They are the same skeleton and model… so a muscle option would be great, which also would enable Darktrolls and Frosttrolls at the same time.

They could made so much more why a simple Dwarf with gems… could have made it a customization option for dwarfs and you would be good to go…
Where is our beloved azeroth races that could have made it into the factions? Ogres,Gnolls,Murlocs master race,Tuskarrs,Nagas,Nerubians (of some kind),Undead(Mixed races elves/orc/trolls/taurens),even some kind of humanoid demon race like Dreadlords.
Also it could have been maybe even 3rd faction as today ally/horde quests and main stories are 99% identical and you don’t really need to do each questline for each race like back in the days as we are Friendly all loving hugging each other for the “Greater good” nowdays story wise … hell having a Murloc/Naga race joining the faction with an underwater city could have been so cool and new refreshing style.
Allied races always has been lazy don’t you think?
Void elf: blue blood elves
Light forge dranei: normal one with a torch on the front
Mag’tar orcs: brown orcs
Highm Taurens: Taurens with cooler horns.
Mechagnomes: gnomes with mechs parts
The only one who are kinda different are KT and vulperas 
Aye and dont’ touch them either please. They are the coolest of the bunch.

Well… They could definitely do with more customization options.
I do agree they are a bit of a nothingburger. They also do not fit Horde at all aesthetically.
I love my dwarves but 3 types in game? That really smacks of we can’t be arsed designing a new race just use dwarves whack some gems on em and make them neutral. There are so many good races in game that could be used! Ogres, Arrakoa, Tuskar, Broken, Murlocs!

I assume you want to say that there aren’t many of them, which is actually completely irrelevant. There were a few demon hunters, even now there aren’t many of them. The numerical state of a race or group has nothing to do with whether it should be an allied race or not. Revantusk have been part of the Horde practically since the beginning, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be playable.
That about hate makes sense, but it’s also irrelevant, especially now. After all the terrible wars, hatred and what not, what kind of situation do we have now? 
Well bearded female dwarves have been a lore thing in lord of the rings, but all dwarf females in wow do not have a beard. So i can see how people think its a joke or just some woke agenda.
Especially how some existing races males cant even grow a proper beard appearently
hozen and yinyu would also be an interesting pick. Ever since MoP i atleast expected yinyu to be playable at somne point

Wow should stick to its own style tbh. And when talking about bearded dwarfs. How many lotr enjoyed do you think actually read the book. I think most big lotr fans mean they liked the movies.
Besides wow is its own thing, changing things like that of a race wich has been in game since the start of wow kind of needs to make sense lorewise imo
Since these dwarves will be bigger and will use same animations as regular dwarves get ready for another slow motion run animation like nightborne
Almost the entire story is very heavily inspired by DnD / Lotr / Warhammer / etc. Why should it be completely its own thing?
Taunka would be horde, they even did the blood oath to the horde in wrath.

Warcraft Adventure game had a bearded dwarf female included with some nudity. That game is older than World of Warcraft.
My arguement is more that if youre going to add forest troll the revantusk are the only tribe that makes sense and they are already horde loyal and as such the other tribes aren’t very valid candidates to make an allied race out of but I can see where you were coming from
Its more of a; I find it hard to imagine that for example the Amani would care to get involved with anyone considering their past motivations for breaking their own ties with the horde.
Nor do I think that the enemies of the Revantusk would be interested in joining the same faction that losened their grip on their own lands on behalf of those same Revantusk (hence why I’d like to see them take jintha’alor if they ever do a world overhaul again)

Why are people so fixated on trading races like this? Alliance Tauren, Horde Dwarves, Alliance trolls. Save what’s left of each faction theme, for the love of God. Maybe the Horde is more appropriate for the circus show but in my opinion they wrecked the Alliance with goat people and void elves.
Personally I could have gone for NO NEW RACE this expansion and instead each existing race would have gotten more customization options.
I get that it’s not easy to rig a new race to the existing amount of gear, I don’t know much about programming, or rather anything really, but even I know that, but for eff sake, people have been asking for vrykul and orgres for over a decade now. Not stone dwarves or dragon-geese.
