This is good to see, those that want to level from scratch can ofc, but anyone who wants to race change or boost can just do so.
Glad to see they are leaving the make you play metrics behind. So many good changes since they accepted an account bound approach to everything.
This is so nice of them. I’m honestly glad they did this. Earthen as a race seem so interesting! Though… who’s gonna install an archive in Stormwind for em?
I wish I’d known this when all the services were on sale though 
Anyone know if it works with a trial character? At work now so can’t see if I can cheese it.
Not sure if it’s a bug or intended, but the starter gear you get when creating an Earthen doesn’t show on the transmog collection. It did on the Beta, so I’m not sure what is right.
The sets are really beautiful and it would be a shame not be able to use them.
that’s great and all, but currently there are so many bugs/issues with them:
- well fed buff they receive from cut gems is removed on death, so it’s costing a ridiculous amount.
- the buff is worse than a regular well fed food buff, by quite a margin, making it a net loss
- you can’t eat or drink regular food, unless it’s mage food
- azerite surge hits for such a small amount that i would never stand and channel in any situation

… so if you use a boost, do you still qualify to get the heritage armor?
(Historically you had to level to qualify etc)
Yep, quick upload memory quest in Dornogal after race change and got the heritage set.
Kinda sad of that change because I feel like it was part of the charm of unlocking a new allied race.
Wow, it sure is really nice of Blizzard to allow players to pay them to boost this new race or pay to race change. Probably the nicest, community first action they’ve completed since launching the game.
