Doesn’t removing the description and not delivering the available at launch cross some false advertising laws?
The main iffy point for them could be the false advertising for a new race being available coinciding with a race change sale, at least in the UK it’s covered by 3(2,A) of the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations.
But I suppose a counter argument could be you don’t have to use the token until the race is released, but I would argue it at least still influenced an economical choice.

Extremely disappointed in this. It was clearly advertised for EA/launch day.
I really don’t know why they are doing this. I was really excited by the expansion and enjoyed everything so far, but now I don’t even want to login anymore because I feel scammed.

I know it sucks that they pushed the release of the Earthen a week… But… Why do any of you need to “rush” to get it before season start?
I mean, they are available on the 3r? And the season starts the 10th, that gives a week to lvl one, and given 70-80 on alts takes what… 3-4 hours, there should be plenty of time do unlock and gear up?
Maybe this even allows for content to be a bit more spread out, so we’re not all sitting on our Earthen Dwarves tonight fully geared and ready, but no content to do for 2 weeks?

They advertised it for the official launch, which is today. Not in a week.
Of course a week is not a long wait. I think we all can agree on that. But I hate being deceived and lied to, it’s the one thing that makes my blood boil. Not only in WoW but in general.
All the advertisement said EA/launch day. Then they reverted it last minute and hoped no one would find out. This is not cool.

Literally same as dark iron dwarf -_-
But that doesn’t really answer my question.
Again, I understand this part:
But I don’t get the whole “Now I have to rush!!” and the comments of inconvenience.

Just because it wouldnt bother you, means it shouldnt bother others?
Weird take.

Where did I say any of it? I asked a question, and you reply with assumptions?
Weird take.
Getting what you paid for when it was advertised isn’t rushing. It’s a reasonable expectation.

The thing is for me atleast i would had preferred earthen to be playable immediately because to me the most fun thing is to immerse myself with the story playing as the new race.
For example MoP would had been really different and not as fun if i would not had option to play as Pandaren right from the get go.

My brother in lord…
Like why do you WANT to fit in what I ask about? I acknowledge your stance, and question another, yet you STILL argue from your view? Come on now… If you don’t fit what I am asking, then I am clearly not asking you? xD
You imply we are being unreasonable by wanting to “rush”
Different people have different priorities. We paid for a thing, we want thing. When they said they would give it.
If you dont care fair enough, but telling people they shoulnt because you cant understand is just weird

And I completely get that. But I will once again, underline my question…
Why does it create a sense of urgency that it has been postponed?
I get the whole “This was promised, it was not delivered, this is not okay!” part… I question a completely other part that was stated in this thread…
