Earthshaker - Population, Queues, Atmosphere?

Anyone from Earthshaker lurking?

My plans on Thekal aren’t working out, as is the case for most people. I fancied a clean slate, I quit TBC mid tier 5.

With the info at hand, WoWlogs, Ironforge pro… Earthshaker seems like a solid pick for Alliance. Assuming you don’t want a Horde presence.

Main question here, and this might seem silly. Are we still able to move characters from PVE to PVP realms right now? I know Blizzard lifted that restriction a long time ago, just before TBC launched. Have they done the same for the pre patch now? I’d like to move my characters there, so I can start enjoying things a bit more.

Yes you can move from PvE to PvP. Earthshaker is almost as populated as Firemaw but with absolutely no Horde left (<800 AH postings for Horde)

Yes good for alliance, we try and make some WPvP happen, but we get outnumbered rather quickly, which is to be expected. and post above most of us use neutral AH if we have 2 accounts for some reason or friends that are trusted to use alliance AH and send it over, noone really bothers listing anything we help each other out in guild etc.

It’s good fun and a close community which I like, and better than what it was (Shameless advert for anyone that like a challenge and PvP out there to come and help and make the realm better) To many people make it worse by moving to the “biggest faction” and cause unbalanced realms etc mainly people that switch over, I don’t blame new people like yourself, especially if you’re always alliance.

No queues in prepatch, decently sizeable alliance population, only few hordies left (mostly gankers who quickly run away when the odds are no longer in their favour). Atmosphere alright, nothing special like the RP-PvP servers used to be, just your typical alive classic server with tons of SR and GDKP pugs.

You mean alliance only attack from above, when someone else engages?

Not just one, 5 “then run away when odds are not in their favour” in honor hold it took 30 mins for us to wipe the other day, we are the 1% on the realm

Haha give me a giggle, managed to wipe a horde raid @ thrall today with 3 of us, to the OP I wouldn’t go there for PvP rated wise.

Wow, 3 PvPers being able to wipe a raid full of PUGs fighting a lvl 83 boss who you have to whittle down for 10+ minutes, since you can’t even properly dmg him, such skill, much wow

You are the 1% on the realm, yes, but don’t kid yourself, your interest is not in some glorious WPvP, that thing doesn’t exist anymore, it’s just ganks. That’s all you can do. And all the dominant faction can do is fight you with superior force. There are no more balanced and good WPvP servers anymore, in part due to Blizzard, in part due to players.

Come to Mograine. Both factions growing and a friendly community.

ES is allright, there is a lot of raids and guilds going on, also a fair bit of ppl doing arena, if that is also your interest.
Doing arena is more difficult on PVE realms.
