Easier dps to play in dragonflight pve/pvp?

Hi guys,
Im back to wow for the new expansion, but im old slow and without a lot of time to training :sob:
So i would like to choose a dps class without a large needing of skills in pve/pvp.
What do you recommend ?
Thank you guys

Just pick any and pick only passive talents  i am not joking. Welp as for classes, frost mage, i guess is easy, Bm Hunter

Lowest APM specs in SL (according to simulationcraft) were :

  • Arcane mage
  • Feral druid
  • Affliction warlock

I would maybe add Marksmanship hunter and Retribution paladin

So far I’ve tried mage, demon Hunter and paladin.

All seem relatively easy to play for us old guys.

Frost mage has an easy rotation and feels nice to play now it procs more than before. I will be using this as my first alt. Just relies on flurry into icelance.

DH has a lot of button presses per min but it’s a very simple rotation, I have found this the most entertaining and will main switching from paladin.

Retribution seems slow in comparison and is easy to over fill and waste the holy power and if you get the rotation wrong theres a big gap where you don’t have a lot to press. Never the less it’s easy fairly easy to get.

But they are all relatively easy.

Lowest apm does not mean easiest.

Arcane mage is pretty complex to play for example.

I think most specs are about on par when it comes to difficulty.

So i will just highlight the ones that i think require more mechanical knowledge.

Arcane mage, fire mage, maybe feral druid. I haven’t tried affliction lock, but i heard malefic rupture is pretty difficult to use perfectly. And also rogue, but outlaw rogue especially.

my recommendations based on playing meta builds and not just intentionally taking every passive at a silly DPS Loss.

  • Hunter.

Beastmastery offers a good DPS build which allows u to not worry about positioning as u can use all your abilities on the fly, marksmanship and survival are slightly more engaging offering u speccs to progress onto but still rather simple when it comes to things as 40 yard range without massive casts for marksman, and Survival has a Shorter rotation but defintly querks to master the specc.

  • Evoker

Devastation Evoker, While not as brainless as some like to make out, its core ST Rotation is pretty smooth, and with hover it at decent level of play can atleast reduce how impactful positioning is on you, however the 25 yard range may take some time to get used to.

  • Paladin

Retribution paladin offers a Pretty simplistic playstyle of Procs, it has a Higher APM then a caster but its Rotation is Fluid and easy to understand, it falls short in mobility howeve so may be punished harder if u stood in silly places.

  • Demon hunter

Havoc Demonhunter offers Large Mobility, Large Damage, Short rotation which flexs into both its ST and AoE Rotation, its likely got the most potiental in PvP also, out of the bunch listed so far.

  • Warrior

Warriors Simple in set up, Fury a Fast hitting melee with a loop of Maximixing rage to push into Rampage with other abilities which is used in between with different effects its a extremely high APM but easy loop in combat.

Arms is overall Slower then Fury to play but overall offers good PvP and has had its light in PvE options, but isnt a Solo class its generally done best with the presence of a healer.

these are my recommendations, overall I think the skill level is pretty even for mostly all classes, but these are some recommendations to try out.

Prot Pally. You take no damage and smash things, looking great and shiny whilst doing it.

Don’t play a Hunter, or you won’t get a spot in a raid in Dragonflight…

If you’re having too much trouble hitting the buttons, try the Gnome Sequencer 2 addon. Its builds a large marco with your core rotation. You can import macros from www(dot)wowlazymacros(dot)com for your spec/class.

So you drop the macro on your toolbar and smash that one key like hulk would. I keybind it to F for ease.

For things like LFR its pretty ideal. Not the best, but decent enough with good gear you’ll still top meters.

So could be DH the answer ?

Demon Hunter is always the answer. It’s so brain dead easy, and it can literally be played on an Xbox controller with ease.

Affliction Lock, Drain all the souls and cackle like a maniac… like I do, I tend to start scaring everyone on discord when I start draining souls.

I would say in all honesty fury warrior

Not masses of button, straight forward rotations, good self sustain, good mobility and loads of fun, great burst and DPS overall.

Even tho it can be high actions per minute it’s not as bad a rogue in that area.

Hello Guys,
What do you think about after these weeks of play ?

rogue best class to pick

I’d say Warrior or DH. They reward you for bum rushing into a fight, and receive passive healing from dealing damage. Simple rotations, too. It’s as if these specs were made for people with below normal brain activity - not having a jab, but that’s just how it comes across.

Yea, surely the best class to pick, rofl lmao. Not everyone can play rogue.

DH or MM huntars seem the best choices to me. Stay away from the class/specs that have long damage CDs, likewise mages, and rogues.

With MM huntars, you just stay out of the mechanic zone and keep firing while melee players are trying to dodge 6 different mechanics. This is what makes huntars easy to play. Everyone says their skill rotation is very easy, like 3 buttons but I didn’t try it myself so I don’t know it.

You got another option to pick furry warrior but their play style is very fast, when something procs, you should immediately press on it and you should keep yourself inside https://www.wowhead.com/spell=184361/enrage window as long as possible to see yourself on damage meters.
