Remember though, just because it’s strong in the hands of a skilled player doesn’t mean the class is easy.
Mage is strong, but an average/bad mage is way easier to beat than an average/bad Demon Hunter for example. Keep that in mind while choosing.

3 schools of magic (4 with covenant), low CD on both defensive and offensive spells, high sustain, high damage, stormkeeper madness, good utility…
If I were to push rating on a caster, I think I’d have a way easier time as Ele shaman. Maybe I’m wrong of course.
Very hard to kill and little need to use anything but instants

Holy priest is insanely easy to play
And always highly ranked in arenas
Ever since the current version of greater heal got introduced, holy priest has been pretty strong in 2v2, yes.
Just because a certain class/spec doesn’t have the tools for 3v3, doesn’t mean it’s hard to play.

Good, it was an extremely boring and completely braindead playstyle
the ranking is fair, but now doing a ranking of the strongest classes, you would find that it is the opposite (or almost)
and a too strong class it becomes a stupid class arrived at a certain level

It needs more buttons in rapid succession than MoP and WoD for example, that while Premiditation is a passive now.
