As the title says, what is the best class with the least amount of buttons / easiest playstyle / least gear dependency to learn and play arena and be kinda good at it?
I recently picked up WoW and never really tried PvP, wanna focus on one class, and not getting overwhelmed by the multiple options, so that’s why I’m asking your thoughts and opinions here to which one to choose.

Dh, frost dk and if you want to do 2s fury warrior is also simple.(but boring af).
Don’t try to go any caster cause if you are beginner it will be painful to get a cast off and you can’t play the game.
DH, dk or warr they fit the least buttons request and are easy to learn, Do not go for casters they are not good for begginers in arena+ all of them have too many buttons and you have to learn fake casting, and positioning to be succesfull. Good gear you need on any class to push rating with low gear not possible, especialy now that pvp scaling is gone.

Hey there. I’d say it depends. What are you looking to play? Melee? Ranged? Healer? What do you most enjoy? Which class(es) or spec(s) do you normally main?
In my opinion, this is the wrong mindset. Play what you want to play/what you most enjoy, and eventually you’ll get there.
That being said, when it comes to melee, for example, Demon Hunter is very friendly to new players. Though I personally find them to be very boring to play, this pre-patch has given them some interesting tools to play around with.
Warrior (talking about Arms) skill-cap is actually much higher now that stuff like Intervene, Shattering Throw and the “sword-and-board” concept have returned. You would ideally need weapon-swapping macros, and also tank weapons in order to be able to use the full kit to its potential and this might be confusing for a starting player. Most of Arms’s tools are meant to be used pre-emptively as well. I wouldn’t classify it as the easiest at all.

I’d say that DH is by far the easiest spec to pick up and play at a reasonable level. Frost DK is also relatively easy to play, though if you want to push rating seriously, you better be prepared to carry around multiple weapons with different runeforges to use against specific comps. Most of the new runeforges seem to be really good for frost, and they have some great synergies with certain PvP talents.
I main Ret/prot pala dh i play because i like the class im kind of demon hunter enthusiast, and reason i dont recomend ret is you need lot of macros for you support spells like sanc,bop,now even sac Same goes for prot in pvp as i actualy played prot pala in arena .I have 30k hours + on my pala so i speak from lot of experience.

I mean fishing for a kick with fear spam and chaos bolt on a different school is cool.
No one plays fury tbh
Even if destro is disgusting, it’s hard to play for a beginner if you don’t know how to deal with interrupt and when to time your dmg.
As a mêlée only cc can stop you (most of them can be dispelled) and you do pve rotation.
Btw yes some people play fury and it’s very cancer to play against, littéraly unkillable and spamming slow and insane dmg 24/7.
I don’t think DK is an easy class for a begginer. Unholy at least , frost is super easy indeed but it’s quite bad in 2’s and we don’t know yet if it’s gonna be as busted in 3’s as in BFA. I’d say paladin is pretty easy , both holy and ret. DH / Assa also.
Play mage, it’s extreamly easy I herd. Just press poly.
Piercing howl got nerfed with a CD 30 sec.
Bloodthirst got nerfed from 5 to 3%.
Enrage haste got nerfed to 12%.
While lock is still the same destro two school fear and bolt.
Bite one hit the other.
No class require skills like before.
monk healer is pretty easy i think if you want to heal
Still it’s one of the easiest spec to play, sorry to contradict you but a lot of spec are harder to mastered like sub rogue, feral or spriest.
Fury is almost on the level of DH in terms of simplicity
