What is the easiest class to play? Currently trying to play affli wlock because easy to stay alive, but demo is better to do dmg, but I’m not good to play as demo. I have played arena pvp last time in the tbc when arenas came out, I have vanilla r12 as mage, but I’m not good play arenas as mage with any spec. Played rated BGs as wlock in MoP. I want to do this solo arena thing, but ppl saying I need to quit the pvp because playing affli wlock. It is very long time when played any pvp with any class, so I feel this affli is the easiest at the moment. I need to say I’m really bad in pvp, but still want to learn and play it although I really dont like arenas so much. I want to play with as few buttons as possible still with high defence and do some dmg too.
Demonhunter is 100% what you need
if u like affli stay affli, u can avoid taking soul rot and the observer one, and just keep your 3 main dots + haunt , so thats rlly reduces the amount of buttons to press.
Affli is good pressure, but u need to learn and play around drain life, eventually maybe u can add soul rot to your talents.
2 u will still need to learn how arena works, whatever spec you play, positioning and what each class can do .
3 it will be a lot easier when rating inflates currently 1800 2000 can be tough eventually it will be very easy to get those,
as for what to pick, a sustainable melee with little cc is what u need i think so DH or WARR, i see dk’s do the same just pve, but they have more buttons so there is that.
Enhance Shaman.
dh for sure lol
I must be bad at the game cause with my dh im either getting focused down and wrecked or cc’d for the entire round.
You could try to heal in arenas, for example with a disc priest. It can cast smite amongst other cool stuff to heal its team mates while doing damage!
All warlock specs has quite alot of buttons to play decently, out of the warlock specs demo is by far the easiest as its the most passively tanky spec aswell as less reliant on hardcasting, one thing all warlocks has in common though is that they´re gonna get crayon aped by the melees ( like myself ) from start till finish if we´re talking arena.
BG´s is an entirely different topic as it has more in common with PvE than it does PvP n as a caster you can at times expect to be fully left alone to freecast, something that will never happen inside arena.
In the current meta we´re in no lock spec is particularly tanky no matter what people claim and its heavily melee dominated. Demo warlock is quite strong atm n the spec i´d highly recommend if you want to stick with warlock, however its main strenght comes from the fact that people are apes n dont understand how demo works n allows the demo to do its perfect dreamscenario max stacked pitlord, dont bother CCing or kiting it n then whines when it does alot of damage.
(On a side note on how to deal with demo locks, mess up their dream scenario, force them to split up their CD´s as opposed to stack them, they have the games most choreographed combo. n then just keep apemode dps them till they go down if you´re a melee. If they somehow manage to get a strong pitlord-tyrant combo with a legion sized army, put your ape brain on hold n kite for abit till the cd´s fade n then engage ape mode again.)
For ease of play paired with class strenght in current meta 100% pick a melee if you wish to do any form of arena. Assassin rogue, DH, Warrior, WW monk and Unholy dk are all very solid options atm. DH and warrior being the two easiest options with the least micromanagement. While i´d hate to see another DH player its likely the best option because in current patch they deal like 30% more damage than every other class paired with the most streamline n basic role, cleave damage is also just built into your kit n requires no additional input what so ever.
Lock main detected
You have the most fried takes of anyone on this forum Thurga. You unironically just suggested removing 2 defensive cooldowns from warlocks on another post. You just want them to be target dummies, shut up
Dk main. n unlike seemingly 95% of the people posting on the forums im not delutional enough to pretend like my class is weak n everyone elses is overtoned.
DK is super good atm for reference. Its obnoxious how many people utilizes like 10% of their classes kit, missplays so hard it hurts against a far superior player and then feels entitled to a win either way. Melee players are especially guilty of this n instantly runs to whine when the zugzug doesnt instantly resault in a victory.
I just checked and most demo warlocks on high rating play without pitlord
SHADOW PRIEST is da wei
i just double checked myself to be sure, among the top 50 demo locks, 30 plays with pitlord, 20 dont hence a majority still plays it so claiming “most high rated” dont play it is just factually incorrect. Pitlord is very predictable n against good players requires a ton of setup to enable hence its not a 100% pick. People also rotate talents based on matchup. For example i wont be running spellwarden if im fighting two warriors.
My main message is that pitlord is not the most power or win condition for demo.
source so i can check too cos i agree with dh
Go with DH it has a huge Burst and a lot of healing, it s a simple brawler spec with a couple of buttons, and it s very forgiving to a certain extent. You can get to a decent rating by just zerging with this class, you might also try Furry another Brawler with two buttons :))) and a lot of healing, I would choose DemonHunter instead of furry its more fluid in its gameplay and more agile compared to the Braindead furry style constantly spamming the same two buttons and hearing your character grunt :))
That’s interesting - you must be skilled at it - what spec?
I am looking for an alt something I’ve not done before ( I did do the DK story when WOTLK came out but never did anything else with it.)
Played a lot of solo shuffle yesterday and DKs seemed pretty bad, but then I only have 1200 rating :). Is it a high skill ceiling?
