Easiest DD/ RDD spec War With In

What will be the easiest DPS or Ranged DPS specialization in the new addon? I’m not looking for something overpowered, just something easy to use. Fewer buttons, more forgiving when it comes to mistakes, and so on. Especially for Mythic+ content, where you also need to AoE. I noticed that all classes now have more buttons to press due to the new talents.

Balance Druid is painfully easy.

It’s been a dumbed down builder/spender spec for a long time now but there’s really no nuances at all to it in TWW.

I don’t even need to check my weak auras anymore when playing it it’s so simple and for the first time has convinced me to switch to Feral.

I dont know leveling a Mage was quite faceroll as arcane only died twice one time i accidentally attacked lvl 80 rare as i failed to notice it was 80 mob and second time in dungeon when i went ape crap :poop: with dps and the tank lost agro so it was my stupidity that killed me.

You are already playing the easiest rdps spec.

leveling in generally easy but i found mage to be quite terrible for leveling in the high 70s where yoi had to use cds for the 1.6m hp mobs and those were plenty

Blizzard has actually done a good job at pruning abilities and baked them into other abilities to reduce bloat but not taking away from the general feel for most classes. There’s not more buttons now than before in DF.

When you play a class for the first talent, use the starter build in the talent tree. That will provide you with the basic talents, otherwise, if you do it yourself and aren’t used to the class, it might feel overwhelming.

So start off with the fundamentals of the class, then go from there once you feel comfortable and familiar with the rotation. Classes are basically about a builder and spender process, one ability builds the resource and others spend it.

If you want to look up viability in Mythic+, you should look on Youtube for Mythic+ class rankings, to give you an idea. Keep in mind things can change patch to patch.

My suggestions for DPS are DH and Frost DK, right now, Frost DK. It’s a very easy builder/spender class and does loads of damage. The rest of the buttons just do extra damage, usually AOE. Hero talents also are looking good.

In terms of ease, DH is a very easy one, because it’s got simple abilities, not a lot of ability bloat and you automatically regen health with your abilities, so you don’t have to press separate keys for those unlike most other classes.

Balance druid, ele shaman, bm hunter, and devoker are all very straightforward ranged dps. Depending on what level of keys you want to do, balance druid has the lowest skill ceiling for utility, but if you’re not planning on going very high you could try all of them out to see which dps rotation you enjoy the most.

As always, the answer is Beast Master Hunter. However, be aware that you can not only create your own talent tree for every specialization with more passive abilities and less active ones, and at the same time you can even ignore few of your abilities for x% performance hit.

I had no problems at all while leveling my mage most of the time i just ran around spamming either arcane explosion/barrage or orb/barrage it was quite fast and insanely fun to gather 10+ mobs at the time and just melt them.

To me the most laid back was Fury Warrior and Retribution Paladin (I play Outlaw on my main, so that has a lot of buttons to manage in specific times + gambling mechanic).

As for ranged: I usually go for Fire Mage or BM Hunter. There’s times when Shadow Priests are fun… but I have no clue about it in TWW. Loved playing one in Legion, haven’t touched one since BFA.
