Returning player with a simple and lazy question 
What’s currently the easiest (or several easiest) dps class outside of Demon Hunter?
Looking forward to playing m+ with some friends and since I usually play tired after work I’d like something that’s not too taxing. I also probably won’t raid.
EDIT: a lot of you agree it’s retri paladin which is nice. Anything beside that? What do locks and hunters look like right now?

re3 paladin is the easiest spec in the game, you can play it blindfolded. Have fun bro

100% Ret Paladin. So simple it’s criminal.
Demon Hunter is most definitely not the easiest anymore. It looks like it is but there is alot of small things that need to fall into place to do good if you miss it its a massive dps loss
Retribution and Fury will always be on the “easier” side of the spectrum. Bonus points that both perform quite decent to good, currently, as well.
Even i can do ok dps on ret paladin so it must be the correct answer

I don’t mind the social stigma that comes with playing, but Im certainly aware
thats fine, just bind your dispel and use it and uou are already better than 99% of the rets.
bonus points if you use your def cd before the actual dmg hits you.
Ret Paladin, BM Hunter, Any of the Rogue specs, you will have no troubles, most the other specs make you work harder.
Basically just avoid playing Mage, Monk, Devastation Evoker, Demon hunter and you’re fine.
Undesired classes in M+ and definitely need more brain to play than paladin, even BM is more complicated since TWW - I play all three classes and pala definitely does the most damage and gets easiest into groups despite having the worst gear. (And yeah, DH isn’t one of the easy classes anymore, since they utterly ruined Havok in SL with the new mover mechanic.)
