I really hope Ebyssian will become the new Earth aspect.
Wrathion is too much of a tryhard and way too impulsive. Sabellian seems to be an arrogant prick and an opportunist.
Ebyssian, as a patient, calm and down-to-earth character (pun intended) embodies the element of Earth quite will. His ego doesn’t keep him from admitting mistakes and in that beautiful sequence with Emberthal, his message is clear: “It’s not about me as a person, I’ve made mistakes as we all did. It’s not even about Neltharion. We are a family - all his children.”
I mean, come on, what better leader for a Dragonflight could there be?
Not to mention that it would be cool to have an aspect with a non-human visage form - not in a faction bound sense - after all, we know that the Aspects are neutral - but to show that more Dragons aren’t fixated on human or elven forms.
Doubt they’ll kill both, might not even kill either. I think Wrathion is safe enough as he has ongoing story about some pending doom that was worth starting the AU invasion for. Could be the same impending doom as the jailer was on about, could be void lord related.
But I do the the portrayal as squabbling brats has been to show us that they are not worthy.
Whereas Ebyssian being all thoughtful and considerate is portraying him as a worthy leader.
While that may be true, Merithra appears as the Green Aspect in the loading screen & following the Green Dragon storyline in-game, she is now the Green Aspect.
i think they did that on purpose to mislead us ( how obvious it might be ) but specially with the waking shore quest line of choosing sides they want to give the feeling were choosing between Seballion and wrathion but seeing how they act it is kind of the stereo type scenario where at the end they both realize that neither of them are good enough
and its going to be the 1 who is there for the flight the whole time ( if you see the emberthall and Ebyssian cinematic )
true and he admits that himself to and takes a strong leader to admit he was wrong and take action on that and that what he is now seem to be doing
haven’t see wrathion really going out of his way for the whole iron horde incident or seballian for his actions in his early live under deadwings rule together with his brother and sister neferian and onyxia
Whiel thats true, my point is, he spent his whole life among the Tauren, never been with dragons, don’t know what makes a Black Dragon a Black Dragon, since he was born after corruption, unlike Sebellian who seen the golden days, born before Neltharion became Death Wing
How someone could be an Aspect if never even been with his kind, don’t know them, nor other dragons for that mater and spent his life hiding among the Tauren?
I’ mstill rooting for Adamantha; Neltharion’s sister who cared for the Dracthyr and was a “good girl” - and got punished
My two coppers are: we wil lfree her, the dracthyr re-gai ntheir 3rd role (tank maybe?) and she will unite the Blacks

true point but to be honest i think blizz had diffrent plans for that ( same with the whole gift of n’zoth thing ) but allot was scrapped and they just stitched together what they had
i do hope ( takes deep breath of copium ) that they learned from that and as far as i look at it it seems to go to this direction and DF seems to be much better received then shadowlands
They are focusing on Wrathion hard. He got his own short story as prelude to Dragonflight and will be the main focus whom we follow through the raid in patch 10.1. Wrathion will become the aspect. It is evident.
Which is true for everything that came after MoP. The last big Horde victory was in Cataclysm. Legion was an alliance only show, Bfa was Sylvanas being removed with traitors who surrendered to Stormwind and Shadowlands ended with Tyrande punishing Sylvanas and Anduin going on a self finding trip. The Horde does not matter in the neutral and/or cosmic plot ever.
Then Sabellian would be the obvious choice, but out of the three, he is the most unimportant and underdeveloped character. It doesn’t even make sense (to me) that he “sensed” the reawakening of the Dragon Isles in Blade’s Edge Mountains, basically in another dimension.
After Merithra following Ysera, I can’t imagine they would turn another minor character into an Aspect.
Well the most important lieutenants of the green flight were the dragons of the nightmare and Eranikus. But they are all dead too. So Blizzard has no choice but to built up new people.
but didnt this count for all 3 of them? wrathion also never really grew up between them as he was more with us in his 12 year hes been born
and seballion was more of his life in outland so being back in azaroth would make things not easier for him either as he missed out on allot
wile Ebyssian besides living most as ebon horn does have good knowledge of things going on now specially in the last few years
he may be most of his life stuck on highmountain but specially the last few years he became quite more active and after we helped him deal with his possible turning to corruption (and belief in the hearth chamber during bfa we truly cleared it )
and remember being earth warden isn’t just being leader of the black dragonflight
but also caring about the world itself
and he is blessed by that titan magic hammer of earth
