Ebyssian for aspect of the black dragonflight

i think Ebyssian is really going to be the new aspect for the black dragon flight for a few reason.

1 the interactions he has in dragon flight (as he feels really caring and some1 who can take the black dragonflight to a bright future) and being set up to be a very important dragon

2 he is more concern about his flight and the well being of others then the throne ( as both sebellion and wrathion both seems more obsessed with the lead position rather then the wellbeing of there flight and there actions proof there carelessness

3 gameplay wise it would logic it would be Ebyssian as with the choice we making in the waking shores between wrathion and sebellion it make sense neither of them would become aspect cause otherwise it would be confusing canon wise what the future going to do if 1 group chosen sebellion and the other wrathion

what do you think about Ebyssian as possible aspect of the black dragon flight and fill the role of earth warden? ( reason why he has maybe a bland appearance now is that once he gets choices to be the earth warden that’s when his model will change to a more " special model" then the bland 1 he currently has

Yeh, it’s a toss up between Ebyssian and Emberthal at the moment. But will probably be Ebyssian.

I think so too. From Day One, when we saw the other two squabbling, I have seen it as the obvious answer.

I think Ebyssian would make a good leader.
He already was a good and charismatic leader for the Highmountain Taurens.
So I think he would be a great leader!

I wouldn’t expect to see a Dracthyr as head of a dragonflight.

Well, it’s something I have seen getting thrown around. Especially after the Forbidden Reach cinematic. She is a Black dragon and child/creation of Neltharion after all.

And it would be an interesting Curveball.

But my money is still on Ebyssian.

i could even see emberthal as Ebyssians love interest specially with that last cinematic and the lines :

Ebyssian: having his hand on her shoulder and smiles we help eachother

I haven’t read those spoilers. But there is even hints of that in the Forbidden Reach cinematic.

Yeah, there are lots of possitibe things about Ebyssian, lots of possitibe things about Sabellian, but let’s face it, in the end of the day, we all know it’s gonna ne Wrathion. Blizzard just loves him.

to be honest i think they want him to be the rebellious teen that joins us on occasion now and then.

and being a aspect would mostly take that away from him.

so specially with blizz loving wrathion so much i think about Ebyssian becoming the aspect of earth even more.

so that wrathion still has his freedom to do his things and find his own way in the flight ( giving him more story room to grow )

and specially with that set up with us having to choose between wrathion and seballion it really makes me 99% sure neither of them become aspect

Slight spoiler, do not read if you do not want.

In Aberrus, 10.1 raid we’re accompanied by Wrathion and hologram of Deathwing (similar to Sindragosa), and as we fight the bosses and mobs (mostly dragonkin, experiments and djardin) the hologram tells Wrathion what being a black aspct is all about… definitely seems like they’re setting Wrathion for the role.

true but we also have the part with Ebyssian and Sebellian that show more of Ebyssians leader ship ( if you know the spoilers you know what scene im talking about :slight_smile:

both Sebellian and Warthion both fight for the throne since they think its there birth right while Ebyssian is actually leading and taking care for everyone.

the information wrathion gets makes me more belief that both him and seballion ( after the ebonhorn/sebellion conversation) will agree that Ebyssian embodies the spirit of the earth warden the most.

so i personally see that hologram information to Wrathion more as a moment of realization for wrathion what he is missing and sees that in Ebyssian ( his little grow up moment ) as warthion learns what it means to be a earth warden as does sabellian after Ebyssian helps him

its the moment wrathion and seballian finally agree together on something

If they make Wrathion aspect it just shows alliance bias once more. Practically 3/5 dragon flights will be alliance aligned with this.

i think it wont happen since it would ruin his character.
as if he did became a aspect he will be restricted in what hes able to do + thats more a end goal position for him and he still has allot of growth to go thru ( don’t forget hes only like 12 years old technically )

and i think blizz wants him to be the adventurous rebellious teen that means well but screws up time to time

thats the charismatic character people like so much rather then a tone downed dragon trying to steer everyone in the right direction to manage the flight in a proper direction as hes way to impulsive and seballian is to self centered so for me Ebyssian is the only choice

Ebyssan have 0 knowledge how to be a dragon, cosplayed Tauren for 10K years to the point basically forgot what is a dragon

Ebyssan is not really suited either
I mean he spent his whole life among the Tauren, never been with dragons, don’t know what makes a Black Dragon a Black Dragon, since he was born after corruption, unlike Sebellian who seen the golden days, born before Neltharion became Death Wing
How someone could be an Aspect if never even been with his kind, don’t know them, nor other dragons for that mater and spent his life hiding among the Tauren?

Seems that’s what they’re building up to.
Sabellion and Wrathion have been been portrayed as douches, or maybe they’ve both been pugging too much M+ recently.
You can see in tv shows when they have a major character start acting like a douche then there’s a high chance they’re going to die soon and they want the audience not to feel so bad about it.
