Currently i’m using 3 x igneous pot and 2 x echo of elementals with the vision of perfection essence and minor the lucid dream. Kinda like a gambler build. Have any of you try that at the moment? Looking to make it a fun build for chill hc progress eternal palace and some keys +10 +11
To my knowledge both Echo of the Elementals and vision of perfection is some of the worst choices we have.
Vision is woefully outclassed by condensed lifeforce which is a whooping 3 times as powerful in a single target build.
And our best perfoming azerite trait, igneous potential, is 3.5 times more powerful than echo of the elementals.
Both are simply too weak as it stands, unforunately.
Condensed lifeforce infact is so powerful that it is the defacto strongest single target dps essence for all but 3dps specs. Which I find absolutely ridiculous and sad.
I tried Echo of elements together with Vision earlier on and it was alright, but for pure single target it falls behind. I also think there are better essences for m+ aoe. You will still do okay though so play it if u like. It could be very nice in m+ with storm elemental (edit: with rng on your side 
)
Sadly Vision of Perfection is not very pleasant for a Primal Elementalist using build. If you cast Earth Elemental, then a proc of VoP will erase the Earth Elemental and replace with it with the Fire Elemental. A no good happening in any case.
I never found it that big of a deal tbh, but yeah it can screw you over if you got some really bad luck.
Well i use earth elemental only to tank in world elite quest not so usefull in raids especially when i can proc the fire one quite often.
Vision with a Storm Elemental build can output some genuinly stupid damage on low movement fights, completely outclassing condensed life force in those situations.
It’s rare, though, as soon as you get a third IP, the condensed life gives MotE/EotE/IF build performs better for the most part.
Maybe i shall consider trying that build sometime. Never liked Icefury and have primal elementalist instead. Icefury just adds too much complexity to the rotation I find. Elsewise running x3 IP
I keep going with that build and i must say its fine! Have a lot of fun and you should try it! I was at Icefury also but it gets complex and kinda clunky not so much fun.
At the moment with 3 IP and 2 EoE and prime elementalist (with aftershock and master of elements) its kinda like a hybrid build and performs really good. And im not even with the 100% right stats. Every item i change i just sim my self and love more this build.

He’s using Vision + Purification Protocol aswell as Storm elemental/Primal elementalist. Seems really insane for this boss and for m+ of course. Looking forward to learning that build too
