I would not blame raiders because of sco covering up those horrible things.

Yeah, just looked it up on Google. Why the whole guild got blamed for someone being a jerk is a bit wierd to me.

Cancel culture. The whole drama was unneeded, but that’s them world we currently live in.

I think that issue is that Method wasn’t just a guild, like any other guild; it was a business - a business relying on advertisers and sponsors, a business whose brand had just been trashed, so naturally the sponsors weren’t going to associate themselves with that.

Yes, that’s what happened. What we’d like to know is why it happened. Why would their whole business collapse because of one single jerk, when the rest of the members had nothing to do with his wrong doings ?
Advertisers don’t like bad publicity and pulled off, so the busyness was pretty much dead. And I’m not sure how many of those players had real jobs, and how many played the game as a job.
The thing is, they knew about what was happening, or atleast the high top knew and decided to sweep under a carpet, because of WORLD FIRST RUN. I mean that’s just no go, cancel culture; no cancel culture.
I found that last night and read it. If any of them knew then it’s shameful they did nothing about it.
If the players didn’t know then I’m deeply upset for them that this has happened and everything they worked towards has been destroyed.
Lets hope they can move on and issues that caused the disband don’t follow them.
I think some of it is just inexperience and they had no HR manager type person to deal with anything. Their organisation grew fast and they didn’t have the proper infrastructure to support it all.
It’s all done and dusted now.
FYI Their dept with gallywix was paid back months ago
As for the new guild raiders, pretty obvious they were going to stick together and continue, Methods downfall was Sco turning it into a brand and monitizing it, mixing games and fun with business never works, Method failed due to greed and bad management
Calling a paedophile/non-consentual fricker (can’t use the actual word on the forums so I’ll just use that) a “jerk” is being very light about the situation.
People are unsure if anyone in the guild knew and it seemed like their management did know and covered it up which is terrible considering the things he allegedly did.
The guild members knew about something as a twitch clip had shown, it’s just not certain how much they knew.
they should have checked their video material a little better
