So the drop of this is bugged, I have cleared normal and killed 2 heroic bosses so far and nothing. So when you get round to fixing this is there some sort of mechanism in place for catch up or those of who have been “blessed” with this latest bug be forever behind?
Keep an eye out for any hotfixes would be the best approach IMO.

Well through heroic and still no more echoed ephemera? Any chance of an update? You know, a spot of professionalism?

The underlying issue causing this was fixed already, and safeguards put in place to make sure anyone effected will be able to catch up by week 5 at the latest, and complete the quest together with everyone else.

Let me tell you guys how well they thought this Ephemera thing through. If you are in week 4 and you have gathered 45 tokens in a month’s work, you decide to use their service, PAY THEM MONEY, and Faction Change, YOU LOSE ALL YOUR EPHEMERA. You’re basically at 0 boss kills because you decided to pay their service and give them profit. It has been confirmed that this is not a bug, it’s a feature, working as intended by Game Master [moderated]. THIS is the respect players are getting right now.

It literally has a catchup mechanic, the bugged drops wer already fixed. Go and do LFR once and/or normal and you’ll be at the EXACT same place everybody else is.
There is no catchup mechanic in place atm. I did both normal and heroic yesterday and I only got 10.

While this is technically correct and in line with how all faction changes work (you can read more about it here), we agree that this quest warrants an exception and have made changes to allow progress to be kept through a faction change.
As for restoring lost progress that would still be an exception and up to the Game Master team to decide, though given this recent development I’d recommend following up in your most recent ticket if you don’t already have one open.

The system still seems dodgy, unless i understand the line “Raidbosses are intended to always drop 2-3 until the cap is reached” wrong.
I was caught up to 20 by mail (had 18 before that). Did a full normal clear and ended up on 27. Fyrakk gave me none despite not being capped (only on before that kill I checked how many i had).
After that I did 2 heroic bosses, they also gave me none but i think thats intended when you already done them on a different difficulty.
Should i make a ticket, or is the wording a bit off from Drahtz??
Edit: my alt got 10 from doing 7 LFR bosses
stuck at 37 this week where the last 5 bosses gave nothing
We revisited this today, and believe that it’s about to work out for everyone.
As you know, there was an issue that was fixed on November 27 that resulted in a one-time mailing of missing Echoed Ephemera to players. At the same time, we made an additional update*.
Since then, we’ve seen some players report they’re not at the expected amount of Echoed Ephemera. The currency is capped per week, so you can reach 10 on week one, 20 on week two, etc. All players who’ve been maximizing this should be done on week five.
*The additional update we made was to increase the cap for week five to 60 Echoed Ephemera. All players who have been raiding each week should be able to earn the enchantment on week five.
Like many I’ve killed each week 9/9 bosses (easy for you tro check). The week after the fix we only got 7 or some got 8 despite a full clear.
So do we get 13+ this week?

Could you also clarify that, if someone picks this quest up now, for example on an alt, they’re not hard capped - only capped by the number of qualifying boss kills they make that week? For example … if they do a full clear on their first week of the quest, they won’t be limited to receiving a maximum of only 10 Ephemera?
It also doesn’t help that, for some reason, despite some people doing the qualifying boss kills in a week, your records don’t seem to be showing those boss kills, which is possibly why they’re not receiving the Ephemera?
For me, i am unable to obtain the quest at all, the quest giver who should have the quest in the raid, doesn’t have any quest for me, i got 10 echoes emailed few weeks ago, cleared the raid a few times, but non of the npc had the quest for me and therefore cannot get the helm enchant. Not sure whats going on
Update: my alt apparently has the quest, just unable to get the quest at all with my main, am I now for ever bugged out from the quest? xD
