50% nerf puts it below most of my passive and minor abilities. If that’s the plan then infinite stars and twilight devastation should also be be nerfed by 50% or higher.
Echoing void will be worse than infinite stars even on AOE situations if nothing else is touched.
Seriously tho, infinite stars is still massively over powered.

They don’t have metrics. If they did infinite stars wouldn’t be 30% of someone’s overal or ranged players wouldn’t have to sit in melee to dps. If you think Blizzard has metrics you need to reevaluate your thinking.

After a 50% nerf echoing void will be utterly garbage. It just shifts the problem from one corruption to another. Everyone will drop for either infinite stars or twilight devastation. It will do less damage than a minor like lethal strikes. Nobody will ever pick echoing void for any situation unless they have no other choice.
Do you even understand how stars work and how it works in a raid enviroment ?
Do you understand that on a ST fight everyone will pick IS and on AoE everyone will pick devastation?

Its an RNG system and yes some people do get lucky and have all in their bags or just simply pay to win with BOEs as this game has become pay to win. Even if you put RNG aside making one corruption completely garbage doesn’t solve anything. Also next time you want to discuss game system at least enter the new raid once

I hate all of this system btw. I’m not defending echoing void by any means. I’m saying the nerf is so strong that echoing void will go from a top tier corruption to one of the worse corruptions and that doesn’t solve anything.

If you think that echo void is gonna be bad think of the void ritual xD also if echo void suck now for aoe and single target just play infinity stars for single and devastator/gushing wounds for aoe. Also if echo void also was op then melee characters could get infinity stars and echo void for fights and deal a lot more than ranged classes becouse echo void have like 8-15y range.

IS recieved three nerfs already and isn’t as abusable than EV (tanks just do crazy damages with that). It sims really well but in reality if the boss spawn any adds the damages will drop
Once again that’s in a very specific situation like Wrathion. Good luck doing such dmg in any other situation with a tier 3 IS (and if they do 30% with two tier 3 then so be it, my EV makes pre nerf more than 10% of my dmg in solo target)

It’ll be middle of the pack for both solo target and cleave, and will still be way ahead of most corrupted effects for huge AOE like in the visions.
You have to check logs then because I have and infinite stars on 5-6 fights of the raid is BIS even after the nerfs. When it does 30%+ of someone’s overal after the nerf it’s still too OP.
And yes echoing void will exactly be garbage because everyone wants to have the top tier corruption and it will be either IS or twilight. Echoing void is below those even now. It’s just that its too good for both. After 50% it will be worse than most.
Didn’t expect anything less from a DH to find the nerf unfair.
Why is it so you think that way OP? You didn’t do 60% of total raid damage as a tank?
