Ah yes, the new UI is completely fine then! Thanks for that!
Nothing is ever completely fine but it is better. The old UI was terrible, had close to zero customization.
Indeed, choice is always better!
Absolutely love it also. I’m hoping we get a good website soon so that we can share our layouts.
Loving the interface changes so much that I don’t have to use many addons anymore. Default is much faster and less problems.
It’s really not… having options is always better…
life doesnt always give option.
there is two types of people in this circumstance…
- those who cry they need option to be satisfied
2.those who adapt to the lack of option given and make the most of it.
EDIT: i think it is apparent that option 1 is the one the majority of the wow forum community fall into.
either that or they are just the most vocal… those who adapt have nothing to moan about.
It’s not as black and white as that… I’m making the most of the new UI but think there could be some improvements and have commented on those…
People that want the old UI back are in their right too I think as a change like this shouldn’t be forced on everyone. There is a reason they used the old UI instead of the UI addons. It shouldn’t have been that hard for Blizzard to put in the option to leave things as they were for those who want it.
then you are option 1.
option 2 wouldnt have reason to ask for more as they would be satisfied with the option given even if limited.
i also would be option 1… as i would question why they released a half-arsed ui without including all the options addons had been offering for years.
Making suggestions isn’t crying lol
depends on the context of what is said…
a lot of stuff on here does come across as crying from unsatisfied entitled spoilt players.
EDIT: i personally think it’s great they added a improved UI which u can edit within the game without the aid of addons…
and i hope they continue work on improving it going forward adding more QoL improvements to it with patches.
I agree with you Twiggz; but ive read around and the primary concern it seems that Blizz hasn’t done a thorough and competent job. They should have addressed this on the Test Realms. Key points are the XP bars, Minimap size and bags. Key concern again is for disabled persons via visual fields.
It seems the Art/Visual Design teams are either got no time/money allocated to them properly, or a new intern temp that has no real-world experience of their field has been listened to and they were too afraid to say to them: sorry bud, this isnt what we wanted.
But would wish they’d communicate with us more, seems its even harder to communicate with a real person at Blizz, every time ive tried to talk to a GM about a serious topic, i get auto generated responses and then the GM didnt even READ what I put. Oh wells, seems this is the way of the world now.
That doesn’t get you the classic UI back. Wish you tried it out before making yourself look silly.
To OP: I am not certain how exactly new UI helps us delete addons. I still need WA, i still need Ability Team Tracker, i still need BigDebuffs, i still need Details!, i still need Gladius (unless they PROPERLY fix raid frames for both enemies and friendlies), i still need Omnibar, i still need DBM.
im one of them always used the classic bars guys myself…
in fairness i havent logged on to see the new ui myself…
but i am 90% certain it isnt as bad as people are making it out to be…
as far as it affecting people with visual disabilities im sure that is something which will be addressed in given time.
For real?
I didn’t check, but I’m gone check and of course pick up old UI which I really liked.
Humans in general don’t like changes. We are a stubborn, annoying species with issues.
